I believe Reynolds would be a revelation at fullback

No!

He has a role standing about 80 metres behind the fullback after announcing his retirement

Nothing against Josh personally but he was never going to be a good fit at the WT's .....and I don't blame him taking the moolah .... we were the damn idiots that offered the ridiculous money

@Mark-Hughes He'd be dead after 5 minutes.
He is not gonna last in any position.

@cochise He would be Mr Fix it as he can play in the halves / Hooker, even centre if needed. For me I would rest Farah for a few weeks after this week and have Liddle at 9 and Josh at 14.

He is a terrible hooker!

@cochise But if fit we need to show other teams he can play to reduce the money we have to pay him.. Seasons over anyway.

Why is Luke Brooks’ inability to become a good, consistent halfback always everyone else’s fault?

Brooks is top in the NRL for line engagements.
He’s third in support play.
He’s ninth for try assists (5th among halfbacks).
He’s top 10 for number of runs (top half or 5/8 by an absolute street).
He’s outside the top 50 in errors (in the top 50: Moses, Croft, Nikorima, Townsend, Keary, Pearce, Milford).

He might not be the type of player you were expecting and he almost certainly isn’t the new Andrew Johns, but he definitively is a good player. I’m sorry you can’t see that, but there’s not an argument to be had here: there’s facts, and there’s what you believe.

Notice I'm not blaming anyone for anything, apart from possibly you for not seeing what's in front of your eyes. The grass is always greener I guess.

His line engagements are great when he has the foot on the pedal , he rarely has the foot to the floor

that's because the service from dummy half isn't good... I think you already know what I am implying... the old guy needs to give the reins to the young guy... it is time... people will argue is he ready? we won't know until he is given lots (I mean lots) of 70-80 mins of football in 1st grade not just a cameo appearance

Tigers need to break this habit of paying big $ for injury prone players hoping they recover and get back to their peak.
How many examples do you need to realize it never happens? so stop doing it!!!

and remind everyone that he is a terrible hooker, I can also tell you the club would not be treating this season as over!

We shouldn't pay any more than 50 per cent of his contract. If no takers let him have a break to get over all these injuries then a good pre season and play him at 14 to cover halves and DH.

Cleary should be made to take Reynolds at Penrith as a replacement for Maloney

Agree. That $700k in their cap is plenty to accommodate Josh.

SHARKS TURN DOWN GRUB

Cronulla has contacted Josh Reynolds’ management to decline any interest in the Wests Tigers half.

Told he can leave the Tigers at the end of this season, Reynolds had been linked to the Sharks but they’re in no position — due to cap restraints — to entertain the move.

And you can also rule out Penrith despite James Maloney’s departure next year. Jarome Luai is Penrith’s long-term five-eighth. via daily telegraph

Oh well, okay josh off to super league u go

If he is fit he would be a great 14... I know its a lot of money for a reserve but i would rather that then pay most of his salary for another team to play him..
