My uncle's company is a sponsor again this year for the Tigers and attended their training yesterday with his son.
Few things he told me about the session.
- Robbie broke his nose (apparently was also in a foul mood all day, before and after the nose, then just stood on the sideline shaking his head)
- Ball work was pathetic, dropping simple balls left right and center.
- He said Nofoaluma was training the house down. Looked great and has to get into firsts soon.
- Confirmed what most of us see on the field, Benji and Farah run the show. They don't listen to Miller, organizing is one of Miller's strengths, they just DON'T listen.
- Potter was very professional and tough.
- Confirmed Naiyaravaro is extremely quick over 30m, but apparently hits the line in practice very slow and just takes the tackle and is unfit.
- ASADA were at the session taking samples. Payten apparently told my uncle this is all very regular.
- Galloway and Woods were great with his boy, had a good chat and threw a few passes with him. My 13 yr old cousin said Marika came up and spoke to him in mumbled Fijian, he didn't know what to say apart from hi so he just walked off and left him standing there haha.
