I hope he turns out to be the try scoring winger with pace we have lacked since
JAC left.

From his highlights video IF he makes the transition to NRL he will be sensational

What a package, plenty of long range tries

The thing that I don't understand is why did Ivan let this kid go and sign Jennings ? Is there something we don't know ?

No we all know
Ivan's useless when it comes to signing players with skills and talent

More accurately it comes from the Leagues Club opportunistically buying broke clubs in the golden west and the football club having the foresight to send some camps out there.

I think it more had to do with COVID last year. Remember the lower tier guys weren’t getting any game time. I was curious what transitioned from when Allan was playing in the same backline as Daine Laurie to the start of our Pre Season where he popped up on our door step. Article said he went to rugby sevens last year.

The only thing going on is Penrith are getting Ivan’d in recruitment and we are benefiting from it.
Here’s hoping Alan can cement a top 30 spot and contribute to first grade success for us.

He’s got a bit of pace Fitzgibbon there a kid in manlys top squad this year tolou koula ran 10.5 last year at school

10.5 would probably be the quickest in the game - I don't think JAC would break 10.9-10.8 these days.

Chris Lawrence was running similar times as a teen before he seriously hit the weights. My son is decently quick as a 9 year old and is a fair chance of making the final at State Champs next month - Chris Lawrence holds the state record as an under 9 - 13.6 seconds which is scorching for a kid that age.

With the usual qualifier about the quality of opposition in that video - he does look big and fast and ***could*** be a real game breaker

I do wonder why the 'riff let him go though.... suppose they cant keep everyone??

Maybe he can't catch high balls or tackle?
Dunno

Roberts is still the fastest at Concord, if not the quickest in the game, so potentially Fitzgibbon & Roberts on the same side could be just deadly and what we just need

Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves with his speed

IE is he safe under the high ball? Will he rush up in defence leaving an overlap? How’s his work rate in the red zone? Hopefully he’s got the basics nailed down would love to see him get a spot

10.5 and below would be elite even at Australian sprinting standards, yet alone NRL

That’s very quick

I doubt any footballer in the game is doing 10.5 in full gear ...hope the young fella kicks butt and takes names ....I won't give you the advice my nan gave me with sprinting ....a certain US Decathlete whose family are big reality TV stars used to eat jelly crystals .....

Mate i am 68 and i laughed as soon as i saw it.Good comedy sketches never die

The kid has the arrogance to go straight onto the wing in first grade for us.

Prefer we give him a crack early than to lose him to the Storm because he wasn't given a chance.

Seen that enough.

Your young fella seems to be quite the athlete,I hope he kills them in whatever he ventures to do..
Back in my day when I played the best over 100 mtrs for me was 12.4 secs...People forget about how quick things are under what circumstances, for example,I had a pair of shorts, singlet and footy boots on when I ran the 12.4 secs on the footy field with inch long grass..these days they train on synthetic and grass fields ...all athletics Im talking about, not just RL players..
