Tigers Vs Titans Question...

Now that the NRL have released the Round 6 schedule, I have finally booked flights and accommodation to see the Tigers play the Titans on the Gold Coast.

The last thing to do is book my tickets for the game. With this in mind, a couple of questions:
1\. Are there any forum members going to this game? If so, where are you sitting?
2\. I think there's a ticket option for "away supporters bay". Is this seating any good?
3\. Does anyone else have any other local knowledge that may help in regards to purchasing game tix?

Well Watto.. :blah was working on a corporate box but I've heard nothing *crickets humming

The Gareth Army norrnally attends but that's by special invite only…..(if you want a t-shirt)

So just do like me TT and sit with the QUEENSLAND WTF...they will have a thread up soon im sure....

Havent recieved confirmation from XXXX yet… I'm presumming now the draw has been released, they will get back to me in a week or so??!!!
 
Maybe Will depend if I can get off work If it was a weekend would have definitely gone . Waiting for reply from them ????
 
Parking at Skilled Park Sucks. They close off an area around the stadium to traffic. Best to get public Transport (train is closest)

Most definitely Free transport with purchase of tickets Depending on where you are staying on coast Pacific Fair shopping centre is a good place as buses coming through really regularly lots of car park space there also The good thing about the Titans game is Titans fans are always very friendly win lose or draw (I've found )Unlike Broncos fans where I have been picked for fights in toilets twice

I reckon the away bay is OK. Being behind the the goal posts, it can be a bit hard to see the entire field if you're in the first ten rows. Always plenty of Tigers supporters on the coast to keep you company.

The only other advice I have is, everything in the ground costs a fortune, so if you like a drink or a feed, stock up before hand.
 
Scott Prince has been terrible lately,
I saw some Titans fans even saying he should be stood down because he's a skirt and so on.
Tigers fans, expect a win.

bit harsh Demps Titans have played 2 top 4 sides imo already and were unlucky with saints game with the Ref \fullback getting taken out But they were very ordinary against Storm I reckon they will bounce back against Broncos and get win this week
 
I will be there, the Away supporters bay is always fun with plenty of Tigers fans showing up. There really isn't a bad seat at Skilled, its kind of like a smaller version of Suncorp.

For GC based Tigers fans, make sure you go to the next Warriors v Titans game and sit with the Warrior fans, its such a good game, the Warriors fans crack me up in a good way. Its well worth the experience.
 
I should be there. Haven't decided where I am sitting yet - depends on who else I know is flying up. Parking is a problem and it is crowded getting home on the trains too. Last year I got a cab - was a shocker of a line but it moved along okayish and people taxi pooled.

Nothing harsh about it.
I checked out the Titans forum and it was their own fans gunning for his head.
From what I have seen in the first 2 rounds, Scotty has been real terrible… Saying they've fast 2 top 4 sides is a cop out.
Every team is a possible top 4 team at this point in time so no excuses.
We had a shocker vs the dogs and bounced back to get an ugly win against the warriors, 1 - 1 against 2 possible top 4 teams.

Prince is nothing if his forwards don't do the job and really think he is unhappy having Capewell outside him I think they should bury that experiment At least our forwards are holding their own Again I think Titans are specials this week
 
Yep, i'll be going up. It's my favourite away game of the year.

Great stadium to watch the footy but like others have said it's a pain to get to.
 
I'll be flying with the family from Perth for this one so any advice will be welcomed
 
defintely!!! can't wait!! I'll probably be in supporters bay again, there were a bunch of tigers there last year. Just hope we get the win this time :slight_smile:

Last year drove down from sunny coast in the kombi, Parked at burleigh heads caravan park, caught the free bus to the game, Had a couple of sherbets and a hotdog heckled a few titans fans, Got the free bus back, Slept in kombi, Drove home the next morning, Great time had by all, except the score! Tuning kombi for its next trip to the goldy in april, Dont know where we will be sitting, cant wait.

I agree with Demps, Prince well below his best, his kicking uncharacteristically poor…he'll come good, but he is at the age where sometimes father time catches up, hopefully not for prince, I like him, and like to see him continue to run around
