Tigers want to lock up Sheens before rivals come knocking

Dont twist stats. he has the worst winning percentage of any coach who has coached for more than 2 years since the NRL began. That is fact.

And tell me the one about Hurst's 51% record again bug - speaking of twisting stats!!!

That was a bald-faced lie & you know it!!!

As I stated previously - his record at the Cows skews his percentage in favour of your stupid argument - but is significantly more reflective of what a crap team & culture they had there at the time!!!

Before Sheens went there they had been wooden-spooners for both years under Bell & Lowe!!!

heard a caller on talkin sport reckon that he has it on real good word that sheens will coaching at sowfscum next season. hope this all crap. c'mon tiges sign him up before that vulture crow tempts him.

if thatwas to happen where does that leave us at Bennett will go north (probably) Maybe Roycey will come back ??Actually you now who i think would throw his hand to coach Tigers Phil Gould I'm serious about that !! (Don't know if i would want him though)

In 2002 Sheens was sacked after losing the first 4 games. Hurst took over and won 8 games. The Cowboys finished higher than they EVER had and Hurst success rate was 51% higher than that of the Fonz. He won 51% more games than the Fonz did for the previous season and the first four weeks.

The writing is on the wall. The Fonz has not even acknowledged the first round of contract negotiations because he has been offered an amount that is disproportionate to what the going rates are for Veteran coaches.

I doubt he will hang around. He will go where the big cash is and where they falsely believe he is a winning coach.

the caller also said that sowfscum had given up on bennett. i cant believe that sheens would leave when the tiges are on the verge of something special over the next few years. to walk away after all sheens has put into the club would be hard to fathom.

I can't wait till we go back to the Terry Lamb days so you will have something valid to cry about.

Just heard on Talkin Sport from a **"very reliable"** source connected high up in Souths that they have secured Tim Sheens as coach for 2012 and beyond…**Apparently it's a "100% done deal"**....this apparently is the same source who advised Talkin Sport that GI would be going to Souths after it was announced he signed with Brisbane...so he does have some "credibility".

Does this explain the lackluster performance last Monday night...???..

All along Humphreys and Sheens have been telling us that the club wants Sheens to extend and that Sheens wants to stay...sort of makes a mockery of those statements...

Now if this is true(will be announced within the next few weeks), then I say Sheens should step aside immediately and a new coach(Folkes?) appointed for the rest of 2011 and perhaps beyond... **I say there is no point in hanging around Mr Sheens if your heart is not in the joint anymore.!!..**

Black Pearl. You and I go for Wests Tigers because we love them. Fonz is there because they pay him to be there. He accepts money to walk through the door when you and I pay money to walk through the door.

Money talks and BS walks. Wests won't be offering a guy who has made the semis 2 times in the last 15 years a blank cheque. Others might, Wests won't .

It's still just a rumour until otherwise confirmed. Personally I don't think Sheens will leave.

a) I would be surprised if he was leaving.

b) If he is leaving, he won't stand down nor will he be stood down (unless we are coming dead last after half the season).

3\. the concern is marshall will follow as there is a clause in his contract allowing him 2
4\. marshall fills souths halves void

i really hope its not true
unless sheens leaves and bennett joins

I will run nude from Balmain to Bradbury in pure joy if this was true !!!

One thing we do know is true, is that Fonz has not entertained Wests offer as yet.

points 3 and 4 would concerm me . but souths would need some good bookkeepersto keep the team under salary cap I think if we did get Bennett (unlikely ) Benji would stay . As previously stated and I'm probably about to get slammed that Phil Gould would be interested in coaching Tigers (not sure if he would be wanted here though)
