With Grant gone, getting him asap is a good move.

I listened to Cleary in the ABC interview and he played a pretty straight bat when asked about Woods. Just reiterated Woods had played well and been professional once he signed with the Dogs.

He has a contract. And he doesn’t have to go anywhere if he doesn’t want to.

But I will say, it’s pretty embarrassing halfway into the first year of a 4 year contract and your club is already trying to offload you. Especially given the way he left us.

Based on subsequent events, he did us a favour. I don't believe we have missed any of them and if he feels he will get a warm welcome at the Sharks, he is mistaken. Sharks' supporters I know don't want his style of prop at their club.
