Tim Lafai

Canterbury have granted Tim Lafai's request for a release from the final 2 years of his contract…He is now a free agent,,,

RLPA president Clint Newton is apparently furious at the Dogs for doing so...

If something isn't done soon money and contract disputes and legalities are going to kill rugby league.

As I posted earlier in the Farah thread poor hard done by players ..here is a great example of a player wanting to walk and the club knows it has no option …why would Newton be concerned it is one of his boys screwing the club...but holy hell breaks out when our club wanted to move Farah on ! Double standards IMO.

Tim Lafai is a great talent. This decision by the Bulldogs #$&%s me off. How can you shaft a guy who has played really well for an inconsistent player who doesn't play on Sundays?

No chance of us picking him up, but whoever does has a great player on their hands.

I do not understand Lafai requested a release?

I'll let it sink in….you have the last part correct in relation to the RLPA..

I don't expect a peep out of them in Lafai's case...

Then he must already have something lined up - no doubt its not us.

No idea why you'd make room for Hoppa by getting rid of Lafai

Agree GNR, dogs fans aren't too happy with Lafai though but i am not too sure that they would want Hoppa

JT is a idoit, and no idea about player talent so we have no hope with getting lafai.

And PAY him with what….. Lima beans!!!!!!!!

Get serious, bag him for what he is doing if you like.

It is your JT agenda.

However do not bag him for something he can't do when he has no coin.

what a load of crap russell, he has made several signings, maybe if he had signed 1or 2 decent signing he maybe get a pat on the back, yet here we are without any strike backrowers and no strike centre, he deserves every thing people throw at him.

JT an idiot? I know who is the idiot here.

Lafai is no world beater. Just a first grade player.

Even if he was the best center in the world, he was not even available when Taylor purchased our new players ( who, I am sure, you had never heard of and never seen play, and yet you pass judgement willy nilly).

So let's pick the idiot!

Take your bile to another club.

magpiecol, who the hell rattled your cage, i have not abused anyone or made rude or other wise comments about anyone on this forum, other than my dislike of JT which i think is ny right. if u cant be civil u should leave this forum or at least who runs this forum needs to have a chat with u.

So, you can bang on about Taylor forever and a day, call him an idiot and a no talent idiot at that. However when someone points out that you are factually wrong, and did not think your talking points through before posting, you take offence.

Here is an idea. How about you start talking up the club for a change, instead of trying to rip it to pieces?

Check out our new players, our new CEO, our new fitness team, our two new coaches in the lower grades. There is plenty to talk about instead of your incessant belittling of our coach. He may not be everybody's cup of tea, however, like it or not, he is here for another couple of years. Accept that and move on.
