Tim Moltzen one-on-one: On The Couch With Sterlo tonight

Was a good interview the kid had talent and courage …played the game with a plate in his head as well as the ACL's and other injuries he came back from...

Good Luck Moltz in your new endeavours...

Sterlo clearly appreciated what he endured to play the game - I too wish him a successful life after a footy

Decent player, had a strong combination with Benji going, Tim could hit a hole and Benji could always find him. He always went a lot better at halfback, yet Sheens seemed hell bent on turning him into a fullback.

Worried about the big issues of not being able to get free tickets

Bit like Garry Jack ….

True….which was amazing since the club was crying out for a decent halfback since 2006....Ahh....Sheens..wonder how he is going at Salford....not too well going by their position on the ladder

That was mainly due to having Lui in the squad and Tedesco's injury in 2012.

Where's Lui these days??

It's real tough isnt it. Sitting on the sidelines for what seemed like eternity, getting paid top $$$ and his concern is not getting more freebies. 😱pen_mouth:
What a strange thing to say and be concerned about… 😕

Pretty sure the freebies was tongue in cheek….

I was liked Moltzen, feel he was very unfairly maligned.

Fans usually warm to high impact players most, he wasnt that player.

Pretty much a short version of his "The Locker Room" interview with Denen Kemp.
That one was more relaxed, natural than the Sterlo one.

How's his voice, lol… surfz up dude.
Love it.

Good guy, all the best m8.

Back with Sheens at ESL strugglers Salford.

I didn't think those comments were tongue in cheek. He came across to me like a kid raised in a bubble. Now he's out in the realm world trying to sell mansions in Sydney. Oh the humility. But anyway, hopefully life from here is injury free for him. Best of luck.

He was real good for about 8 weeks the back end of 2011

He had issues with his game , but he didn't deserve that horror injury run

I wish him and his wife the best of luck in the future

To be fair, in 2009 when Sheens finally shifted Morris out of the halves and put Molten in the 7, we went on a huge winning run. It was when Gallant went down that Moltzen was moved to fullback and Lui debuted at halfback. That 2 months in 2009 was probably the best period the team had since 2005, but too many injuries killed us in the key game that season against Parra. Had we picked up 8th spot that year we could have done the same damage Parra did in the finals.

To be fair he did start to hit his stride at fullback at the back end of 2011, but the whole Dragons debacle happened after that, and his confidence seemed to really suffer when he turned in a shocker in early 2012 against the Saints.
