Congratulations on a great career. Mate spoke to him and drs will operate on his knee but he won't be able to play footy on it. All the best in real estate.

Hmmmm. This was in the Tele this morn:

"The equation gets more complicated with the expected return of star half Daly Cherry-Evans next weekend along with utility Tim Moltzen."

Weird, my mate cute his hair. We're all mates with molten misses brother

A player who was not able to reach his full potential, due to injury.
Best of luck in your future endeavors.

His failings are well documented, but he had genuine toe and knew how to find the line. He could change a game on his day. It's a shame to see any player lose four years to injury.

I always wonder what would have happened if he did go to Saints.

He should have went, maybe would have gotten his chance to shine

He wouldn't have gotten any more chances at Dragons than he got at WT, Sheens looked after him pretty well in that department. He was getting picked many weeks when he should have been in reserve grade.
Best of luck to him in the future.
Wonder if Benji will retire immediately out of sympathy to his best mate?

Very sad when any player is forced to end his career because of injury. Cannot believe the bad luck with injuries-many serious-that Tim had to cope with throughout his career. I wish him all the very best in his future life outside football. He deserves some good luck for a change

shouldnt have ever been moved from halfback, another idiotic sheenius idea

moltzen was always a frustrating one, even before his injuries he seemed hesitent to put his body on the line. all the best in retirement.

Think everyone forgets just how good he was when he first burst on to the scene before all the injuries.
He really tore it up. Sad way to end a carreer. Potential unrealised.

I think people remember how bad he was under the high ball and how he refused to do kick returns. I will always wonder how good we could have been if Sheens had kept him in the halves instead of shifting him back to fullback after Mighty Mouse broke his leg.

Best of luck with your retirement

You interested in a coaching role , I hear an ex club of your's is getting the old boys back together

Sounds like another tigers player ATM re: body on the line…..

There was a time last yr where i was coming around to old Timmy and really felt sorry for him. That was until he stuck his nose into the Farah fiasco, particularly after how the club stood by him throughout the Dragons contract, not to mention countless injuries. Tim's leaving, and all of a sudden he develops more courage on social media than he ever showed on the field.

Sorry, but good riddance Timid

Ah yes, the old "nuffy accuses first grade footy player of having no courage" chestnut.
At least it takes guts to sit in front of your laptop with your jimmy-jams on and question people's toughness huh, thank god for that.
Moltzen wasn't everybodies cup of tea but you can't say a bloke who plays in the toughest team competition on the planet lacks ticker.
Have another milk arrowroot with your Horlicks.
