Although it's eye bleeding stuff to read, tigersrule4life is right.
Fifita has pretty much done a Matt Bell-esque roll for all but 1 game this year - however with a much higher price tag. It's not as if Bell couldn't have broken a weak tackle for one try, and fall over the line for another.

I can't agree UD. I don't know how people can say yesterday was his first decent game for the yr cos he's been good all yr and his attitude seems to be top shelf. He must be laughing when he looks at where the Sharks are compared to us

For the most part of the season Fifita has been used as a impact player off the bench in a forward pack that has been strong and going forward. Would he have the same impact in a forward pack that has been dominated most weeks, Iam not so sure on that.

Exactly.
The guy doesn't punch the line much harder than bell - he takes more hitups (in turn does more metres) but also concedes more errors, and more penalties (stats you conveniently omitted)
The error rate as per your stats above are about the same.
He also tackles less, and has missed more tackles than Bell has - (again, stats you also conveniently omitted)
I stand by what I said. The guy has been unremarkable this year.

Fifita has been far from crap but to compare him to Bell is a tad unfair. Bell has been getting about 18 minutes a game and still has more tackles. If Bell had the same amount of on field minutes I dare say his stats would be comparable.
In saying that I am definitely finding myself wishing we hadn't let him go.

Its hard to say how Fafita & Gibbs would be going if still here….we are - many of us - saying players arent challenged here, are in their comfort zones - it looks to me a change has done both these boys the world of good.
Imagine a change of coach for our boys here?
New lease on life, new enthusiasm, new ideas, new thoughts, plans shemes and speeches...fresh, new, novel a clean start....
Its a no brainer and everyone here knows it.

Beat me to it. I'd be interested to see the comparison in minutes played. Bell did get quite a bit of game time when Heighington was out so I'd suspect they'd be on par for minutes played which suggests Bell's workload on the ball has been a tad lacking compared to Fifita.
Nonetheless, Bell is still a good player and should be in prop rotation tightening up the defence in the middle.
