Well Ink,Im one of those that is a strong believer of giving a person a fair go,in having said that,all things weren't equal when Taylor took on the job,he knew it and was still prepared to have a go at righting the ship..We have also given some of these players that he coached more than enough time to show if they are NRL standard players,however they are still waiting with their hands out for money that at least two of them haven't the ability at this level to earn…Am I a JT supporter?when he was the club coach I was prepared to let him see out his tenure and work with an overated team of park footballers,which many on here have claimed many times before,so in that sense I gave him my support...If many on here think that JT is gone and good riddance,many of the players he did try to work with should be put on notice that the same could happen to them if they under perform,just as many thought JT did..

When you put these two points together, most want the same thing, ie a swift resolution, but because of the bad blood amongst supporters from the dramas of last year, people are trying to create extreme viewpoints where there aren't any.

He is a good player most certainly, but as far as I am concerned he has shown that he is no Captain of men and incapable of being a stable influence on our young team.

Valid post omt,what people should realise is now JT is gone Farah is gone ,the club board and administrators have to be very vigilant regarding who they employ as coach and who they resign as players,we definitely want a coach the players respond to and we want players to perform at this level..we have been the halfway house of mediocrity for far to long,if Pascoe is fair dinkum,then there should be a very serious conversation regarding this playing group and their worth…its time to take a stand,if you want to play for the Wests Tigers and be part of a winning culture then the ball is in their court to perform to an NRL standard and compete week in week out,not have a great game one week and look like world beaters then the next couple of weeks play like park footballers full of mistakes and uncertainty..Although it does start at the top,I go to watch and support a team of professional rugby league players,not pretenders or overated,overhyped juniors that have yet to earn their NRL stripes,this is a business and winning games is part of that business,I pay my membership to support the club and team,I can spend my fee on anything I want,however I love the WTs and I can easily not renew if we keep going on this same path of inconsistent playing,poor admin and players trying to dictate to the club...

One thing i will give Farah credit for is when he signed his last contract, we were in the midst of drama not knowing Potter's future, and we'd been struggling on the field. He said just because things get hard doesn't mean you up and leave. Woods on the other hand just seems to be out for himself. Which is fine for him as a player. As a captain its a joke. The captain is supposed to be an extension of the coach and CEO. He's failed miserably as far as i'm concerned. Hasn't put the club first at all. If wants the C, he has to take the responsibilites that go with it. If he doesn't, stand down and look after yourself.

JT was nothing compared to my views on Sheens at the end…10 years is a long time for mediocrity intersepersed with occasional gold.
I believe I learnt some patience back then, Two and a tick years for JT was a blip compared to Sheens
I credit JT with our S&C team improving drastically...Ive continually criticised him over the defense or lack of it...everything else a bit neither here nor there
Continually pointing out to ignorants the restrictions he was under re: 2nd tier cap....people somehow twist that into me being a "lol JT lover lol fanboy lol lol lol"

I completely see your reasoning and explanations Ink,come to think of it we as a club have been very ordinary from the start,very unprofessional in the way we have done things…we now have the opportunity to make things right,a tougher stance on players contracts and their worth would be a start..Like you I kept fronting up to games and memberships in the Sheens era because of the club,at times his decisions weren't right as was Humpty and Mayers...but to keep calling people fan boys etc is pretty immature in an adults world of conversation,as I said,I supported Taylor as coach of this club,did that make me a fanboy,absolutely not...

With you a 100%. The last 2 years I've been close to not renewing, and if this start to the year continues I can't see myself attending a single fixture, including those I have paid for already.

Your right, Farah and Taylor are both gone but the tension remains for some reason.
I don't think anyone would be unhappy if we have Cleary instead of Taylor.

I've struggled with the question myself. The recent rise in the use of "lol" has me leaning towards troll. I guess it's nicer to believe that someone is just having some "fun" at others' expense, rather than thinking they are incapable of comprehending the conversation.

I still think that maybe some of woods comments may have been wrongly interpreted. I'm happy to see how this plays out before I make a call.
