Time to rebuild

We made that mistake with Blair.i like sheens but I think coaching has past him.bellamy,McGuire and hasler coached players talk of discipline and playing for each other.i don't see it this year.

I agree its time to put the broom through the joint…Blair has to go and we MUST recruit an established halfback...

Agreed we just don't have that game breaker, like Prince or the go forward like Gibbs Skando and Ben Galea ( never say die attitude ) !

As long as Benji is here our style won't change, one day everyone will realise he was the demise of our team in so many ways. Rebuild all you want in every position but remember who's hands the ball goes through and who takes our last tackle plays most of the time. The team will only change when Benji is gone which is really sad. Unfortunately all of this will only be realised in hindsight.

People who are bagging Marshall have zero idea about football.

Marshall is not there to organise the team. He has an unstructured style of play.

Yet Sheens is asking him to be an organiser. Even a spastic on acid can tell that is not going to work.

Get an ORGANISING half outside Marshall (not Miller, not Humble, not Farah, not Sironen) and he will perform.

The problem is Sheens, NOT Marshall.
 
In fact, let's take Aaron Woods, move him to centre. And then bag the crap out of him for being a hopeless footballer. That makes sense.

1-5 is where we lack our speed, we need to bring in Nofo and Koro to bring some speed into the side with Lawrence and Beau already there. This could be our 1-5 for the years to come.\

Liam Foran is a great halfback as most of you might of seen while he was filling it for his brother at Manly, he is off contract this year and would be great for us.\

We need to secure Farrah and Keithy long term before they go off contract, they play a big role in all our games and can't afford to lose them.\

11\. Liam Fulton
12\. Curtis Sirronen
13\. Braith Anasta\

Curtis can learn alot from Braith in these couple of years and they are both strong defenders these 3 guys will be great together in our backrow.\

14\. Moltzen
15\. Pettybourn
16\. Bell
17\. BMM\
\
Those four guys would be great for the bench, Moltzen would be able to give Foran, Farrah and Tedesco a rest and would be there in case of injuries.\

Heighington and Blair, waste of cap space and under perrforming._
 
I think you have the right idea but I think we need a backrow with more impact. I can just see them getting dominated. I like that bench although I'd like to see a spot for Ayshford. I'd also have Beau in the centres.

Still that is a good squad. We need some speed in the backs.
 
Players needed at least 3 hard dominant forwards ,2 new centres, and the big one a 1/2 back that can do what a 1/2 does best! and a clean out of several players at least including the Coach !.

I totally agree with you we need a halfback, but the rubbish football Benji is playing has nothing to do with his
position/ role whatever you want to call it, it's just rubbish football running sideways dummying to every player and then dumping the ball to a player standing still or giving it to the winger who has been almost forced into touch before he has received the ball, pathetic bombs grubbers that no one knows are coming etc etc etc not to mention defence it's fundamental football, stop making excuses for him and except he's ordinary. Same goes for Blair it's Blair playing crap no one else is to blame.

lets go all out and get jt. plenty of 3rd party arrangements, sponsors, promise him the world. just get him !!

…i like it, i'd even offload a couple of so called players that are part of our fabric to get him, we all know its never going to happen though.

Your backrow is too lightweight and lacks punch. Sirro won't be playing backrow next year anyway. And you need to understand that if we released Blair, we would also be responsible for paying out his contract, so that's not a smart thing to do either.

I don't think that Marshall is anywhere near as bad as what you are stating however everything else is correct. Its not the 7 on his back that has resulted in Marshall playing crap footy he is just playing crap footy. Blair is just a crap player and I keep wanting him to perform.
