Time to shine Robs

Against the Roosters, most people would agree that Lui had his best game ever. Even the brilliance of Robbie in attack and leading the side was special.

However, with a possibility of Marshall out injured (hopefully not 😛ray🙂, I think it's time for Lui and Farah to show what they can do. I think we have been very good in defence this year and it's our attack thats faltering, and out halfback and hooker need to step up big time to avoid the space filled in by our star 5/8.

We know what Farah is capable of, we have seen him pull out cards from underneath his sleeves in tense situations, but for Lui, he needs to show what he can do and if possible try to cement his spot as our halfback for a long time.

Come on ROBBIESSS, its time to shine and show them the green way out of the competition.

GO THE TIGERS!!!!! :sign: :righton:

What Im about to say may sound very critical of the kid but it isn't meant to be.

I really don't think he is ready to lead the team around the park yet without Robbie AND Benji calling the shots. You could see our attack simply faltered when Benji went off last week and I know the boys were mostly out on their feet so am not laying blame. I just think that when Faffy and Bunj are doing what they do then it gives Lui much more freedom to let his game just come naturally without having to think too much and overplay his hand.

Without Bunj there the opposition knows Faffy is our playmaker and our structure in attack gets a bit lost and the opposition can totally target Faffy.

I think one of the Roosters strong points in last weeks game was their ability to switch their focus of attack between three play makers, Carney, Pearce and Anasta, which meant that our defence had to be more aware and spread out. When Bunji went off the Roosters knew that Faffy was the man and centred on him.

I was one of those people who thought Lui is/was not the X factor and i critised him for his efforts against Titans but against the Roosters he really stood tall(full 178cm) and improved every aspect of his game , for that i give him credit.
Hope this week he can repeat that or a better performance for more KUDOS….

That's the thing. IF Beenji is out, they will only focus on Farah and this will provide extra room for Lui. I doubt they will put as much pressure on Lui as much they put on Farah.

I have seen him play U20's last year, whenever he took the line on, he was very very dangerous. If he continues to do that on Friday, the Raiders will be in for a long night.

All I'm saying is that it's a huge game for the Tigers but its a bigger one for Lui. He is a halfback or 5/8 forever and if he has a good night on Friday, Tigers will show Raider the exit.

We need both Farah and Marshall to have great games and I think they both will!
