Today's games compared to us

Supercoach none of the coaches you mentioned would have signed Fulton to a three year deal. People can blame the Roster yet Potter is picking the same team as Sheens. How anyone can pick Masada before Ava jut about does my head in.

Who else should he select?

Are they ready?

Does it affect our cap bringing in a whole heap of 2nd tier players? **Yes.**

His hands are tied

He already selected Ava - who isn't 2nd tier anyway - so that certainly isn't the reason.

I am happy to go the whole season without winning a game so long as I can discern a long term strategy. All I have seen so far is the same Sheens team and the same Sheens tactics but not as well executed.

As I have said, I am hopeful Potter be the messiah but I haven't been impressed with the start.

For now, we have given up a great coach with many flaws for just a coach with the flaws.

I think you are having difficutly telling the difference from the players reverting to old habits and Potters influence. I keep referring to it, but the Parra game and the way Miller and Marshall directed the forwards rather than Robbie sending them off his hip was Potter. It was new play, he is working and cannot be blamed for the players on the pitch losing their way.

As for his recruitment strategy, he cannot just buy a new team unfortunately, he has to build a core of players who understand the system he wants. If he mops the decks to start again recruiting wise, he is all but wasting his time now.
