If you were in the know you would know that the only reason Rudolph was moved to fullback in the first place was to cover Rowe who got quite sick! It had nothing to do with him playing badly at #6! Payten also made reference in an article on the Tigers website that he was happy with Rudolph's progress at #6.
Also, while Rudolph was in the halves with Miller the team was playing at its best, have a look at the win/loss ratio!
When Rowe returned from being ill Rudolph should have gone back to 5/8 but Payten said he left Rudolph at fullback because he was playing well and even though Rowe had not done anything wrong he will have to bide his time to regain the fullback position!
It wasn't until late in the season Rudolph went a little off the boil and that was when he was playing fullback not 5/8!
And to end the season as the competitions top points scorer, he couldn't have sucked that bad mate!!

Tigers started the NYC last year pretty well, and yes Rudolph was a big part of that. Then he had a terrible loss of form mid-season, as did the team. They had a solid run to the finals and he was not a part of the side then.
He is a good player but IMO nowhere near good enough to make first grade
Do you even watch the 20's play?
Rudolph played every game last season except the last round against the Storm! So how can you say the team had a solid run into finals without him?
And as for the mid season slump I think you will find it was the whole team who had a mid season slump! You have to remember that mid season the boys were missing key players like Koro and Nofo which had a massive impact on the boys win/loss ratio! Payten even made comment that the loss of these boys had a huge impact on the team at the time!
