No shortage of speed and skill in that side, along with a hard working forward pack. It will be interesting to see how they stack up against the Sharks who were finalists last year and comfortably beat the Tigers through a large pack last year. Plenty of changes to both sides since then though.

Thanks for the info & all the effort of keeping us up to date with our 20's.Any idea when young sirro is due back from injury?

Blackandwhite may the man to answer that question.

I seem to recall Jordan Marshall picked up an injury before the Foundation Cup NYC trial… Is this why he's not listed or did he just miss out?

He was limping pretty badly. If it was ankle ligaments he will probably miss a few weeks. He'll have a hard time ousting Kurtis Rowe at fullback.

Any info on Nathan Brown, michael Kai and Manaia Rudolph as none appear in the nyc stats. Also how come the stats are never up to date on these sites, does the club not want to supply us with up to date info or what?

Brown is a nuggety prop, not the biggest bloke but he has a decent motor and went forward against the big Roosters pack. Kai is a centre with pretty good footwork and speed from what I've seen. Again, he's not a big centre, he weighs less than 90kg and is smaller than Matt Evans who has bulked up a bit this year. Rudolph is good, very good footwork and speed, and has a very good passing game. He is also an excellent goalkicker. I will be interested to see what happens when Sirro comes back because Rudolph is too good not to play at 6.

It is a problem Willow. Sironen will have to go into the back row but who do you leave out? Rudolph plays the game so much like Marshall in terms of a passing game, but I have not had the chance to really see his running game yet. It is a good problem for Todd to have and injuries might make the decision for him.

I don't know about you, but i'm pretty excited to see what the boys can come up with for round one.

So much talent and Payten is definitely spoilt for choice, despite the team being full of young players.
Many people may compare the size of the Tigers boys to other teams, little do they know that players such as Inno Inosesio who is back from a shoulder reco last year can bench over 150kgs, with a lot of the other guys not too far behind.

These boys may look small but that is what is so deceiving- to our advantage.
For example, if a winger were to make a hit-up to David Nofoaluma they would be surprised just how solid he is. Same goes for all the players across the board. Vela, Santi, Lovett, Saunders, Luani etc.

But I must say, I think a lot of people have forgotten about Jesse Sue, who definitely made an impact last year. Not only would it be hard when Sirro came back but for Sue to come back around Round 4 or 5 would make Payten's decision even harder. I guess we'll get to that when we have to.

Goodluck to all the boys and may the mighty Tigers have an unbeatable start to the season.

I think that Sironen will be straight back into the side when fit, maybe he will be at centre. I said before that Sheens may start him in the centres if he plays NRL like he did with both Fitler and Daley in their early years.

I don't know much about the current #6, I look forward to watching him this week. I have heard big things from some good judges about the young flegg player in the halves who is Benny Ellias newphew, I think he will play NYC later this year.

Siro will definitely come back in somewhere, whoever misses out will be extremely unlucky.

Benny's nephew is MItchell Moses, looks a very good prospect.

This Rudolf looks like he is cut straight from the Marshall cloth as well.

there is a number of great kids coming thru, great spot to be.
