Wests Tigers U20s Coach Todd Payten has named his side to play Parramatta Eels in a trial match at Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford, on Saturday, February 11.

The trial match starts at 5.15pm and will be the first game against a Sydney club following a trial win over a touring Hull KR Academy side a fortnight ago.

Payten will again use the trial to try a few combinations before next month's season kick-off.

Pretty strong lineup with some very good backrowers on the bench, along with the likes of Miller, Fotuaika and Koroibete.

I'm guessing numbers 19-24 Will spend some time in first grade on the night

Could be on the money here, it would not surprise at all.

yeah… I'm reading the list and seeing names like Santi, Mosese and Miller on the bench and thinking WTF?

I'd say you are right on the money fergie... Good to have so much depth.

Does anyone know who the #8 was last week?

Number 15 Watto, Soni Paasi.

I'm expecting Inosesio to be a standout performance in his first NYC game since shoulder surgery early last year.

A Magpies junior to a contracted Tigers player, he is certain for great things. Not only is his head in the game but so is his heart which makes him work harder each of the 80 minutes. With great fitness improvements since SG Ball we can expect the same quality of performance, if not better.

There may be a number of players who have come down from first grade for this trial but the ones wearing the starting jerseys shouldn't be discredited. Just remember, they're goings to work harder for their spots. Goodluck to all the boys.

Why is Michael Kai ahead of David Nofoaluma for the centre spot? Kai I have never heard of and Nofoaluma has been touted for yeeeeeeeeeears.

Nofoaluma played a few games on the wing last year. Maybe Payten figures he's better off there?

I'm guessing they are see nofoalumas future on the wing. Ayshford an Lawrence are both going to be at the club longterm and are still babies. I'm guessing next year lote, Utai, ryan and brown will all be gone with Koribete, nofoaluma, simons and grant ear marked for their spots.

Nofoaluma is also a much better option to have returning the ball if kicked to the wing
