No surprise Tigers, Sharks and Manly are going to get targeted. They will either entice with big cash payment to relocate or wait for clubs to die. .
Can’t see them moving anyone it will end up in marches and in court. If any clubs are sold new owners would be easy targets to relocate with cash. Manly may be a victim.

That's fine. Relocate the Roosters, they have little to no juniors and are dwarfed by the South Sydney franchise. So what if they won last years GF, even more of a sales pitch for the relocation (support last years premiers as your new team). Sorry, what was I thinking, that's no chance of happening.

I would have thought the Sharks are an obvious candidate to merge with SGI. They should have never been created in the first place - they are simply an extension of St George's territory.

Manly is the other obvious candidate.

Easts and Souths should be merged, but that will never happen.

For this reason alone the club has to decide on 1 home ground THIS year moving forward in to 2020\. TBH I am over the argument on which of the 5 home grounds we have is better… JUST select one and unite the supporter base ,then maybe the club might survive the cut as it is coming !
Us supporters should take a long hard look at what is around the corner or we will have no club to support , personally with what has been happening at board level the writing is already on the wall IMO..I get no good vibe from the club at all .

Two things. Firstly both ourselves and St George Illawarra have already been down this road. We both should be excluded from any relocation talk given our previous history and large junior areas. This is where i agree with Snake. Lock in one homeground !!! This kind of thing also makes me feel we have made a good choice in BOF as the new Chair.

Secondly, it has to be relocation of somebody rather than expansion. There are barely enough quality first grade standard players now to fill 16 teams.

 The new "Bankwest Stadium" would be a perfect home to cohabit with the Eels. If AFL teams can happily coexist using just a couple of stadiums (the Melbourne teams), why can't we do the same? Bite the bullet early so it is not referred to as Parramatta stadium and always by it's sponsor name and I can't see an issue. It beats fighting for a park at Leichhardt or driving to Cambo. Money goes to NSW gov, not Parra, so it can be reinvested in fixing up the Roosters home ground :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
