My bad, but have a look.

Found Saturday’s highlights. It certainly was a poor defensive effort from Kiah Cooper. I may need to re-evaluate. I’ll watch closely the next couple of games.

The blokes saying to get rid of Talau are kidding, the kid has one of the best try strike rates for us, 21 years old and played about 20 games, most of them out of position, but a few nufties reckon we should get rid of him, the same kid that grew up playing in all the rep teams, been scouted as our best young talent by both players and coaches and even picked in this years emerging blues squad.

I see Remis smith situation similar, had talent and played solid without being great. Dogs let him go and now he’s showing how good he is going to be in a few years. That’s Talau for us, he’s been solid for us out of position on the wing.

But if we have the nufties way, he’ll end up in a top roster and kill it, then the same nufties will make a group named why did we let him go and blame management for it.

**Give the kid time**, he’s obviously got talent but needs more games and for our team to win some games! The poor kid has won 6 games in his nrl career playing for the tigers, that in itself would stunt a career. Hopefully we see more of him at centre, would have been interesting to see him play at 6 for a few games aswell. Could be similar to greg bird type of role for him.

You may well be right, but time is one thing we don't have.

Let him learn in reserves.

The blokes saying To keep Talau are kidding their selves.
He's fallen over the line a few times but he is painfully slow and is a poor defender.

Mediocrity is ingrained in the team and he's a perfect example.

He is not a first grader and should be delivering pizzas for @happy_tiger's pizzeria.

Another flop living off his name.

TT isn’t a winger and is playing way out of position.

I can cop dropped bombs under pressure & being out paced because of that or thumbles low to the ground off grubbers but the majority of his errors aren’t all positional based - dropped balls in tackles, missed tackles, poor defensive reads.

I do think he will become a very good edge backrower but he needs to remove the errors from his game.

He really lacks focus. The howler in Magic Round is a prime example.

I think he has also found the step to NRL far more difficult than anything before it. He plays with the confidence of someone who has achieved at a high level and is able to do some remarkable things but seems to be caught off guard at times by the speed and strength of the opposition.

He needs time but also hopefully he's got very clear instructions on what he needs to develop.

Agree. "oh but he scored tries at a good rate he must be good". Just about every single one of his tries is him falling over the line where anybody on this forum could have likely got the job done. Please dont kid yourselves with his "try scoring ability" its laughable.

we need to stop playing him on the wing. it's destroying his confidence. he's a centre. if that means he goes back to KOE Cup to work on things that's fine, it's probably what he needs at this stage.

Tigers were given the chance to swap him for The Fox as well and turned it down.

I genuinelly think dockar can secure a utlity rolr on the bench..... imho simpkin still needs more development in kOe, he has been on off

People who say this are always the ones who shouldn’t make suggestions, stupid to imply he just fell over for a try. His magic round try was great, he made it look easier than it was. If anyone could score at his rate, why haven’t we had others scoring at his rate?? Nofa is great finisher, but who else ?
