I feel like Tommy isn't fit enough and surely the club in the off season can get him some coaching from a sprints coach that would do wonders for his career moving forward.

He's not worth the investment.
Move him on.

He’s a center not a winger.
He didn't impress at centre either.

Who would you bring through in his place?

Same as we did the other night AD or Mbye until we sign someone better.

What about the wing position? Would you give Fitzgibbon a run? I think I would, couldn’t be any worse than Cini’s last game. Maybe give Cini a chance to redeem himself?

Yeah, I like Fitzgibbon (I thought he has improved a lot from the trials), I think Cini needs another chance, but also Kiah Cooper wouldn't be a bad option either.

Yeah Kiah Cooper is the one that actually stood out for me in all the KOECs I saw. Agreed that Cini needs a chance to redeem himself, it will make or break him. Fitzgibbon is raw, and would need support, which we lack, around him on the field but crikey he is quick.

Have a look at the last try that the Raiders scored today.

Today?

My bad, but have a look.

Found Saturday’s highlights. It certainly was a poor defensive effort from Kiah Cooper. I may need to re-evaluate. I’ll watch closely the next couple of games.

Some of these guys are brilliant at there current level but once there is a class rise some find themselves out of there depth and it takes time to adjust and most are in there late teens with there whole future in front of them. Its a bit like horse racing you have a horse that works upto a maiden win may take 3 or 4 starts for that happen very few go straight to the next level and win straight away it all takes time.Theres always the exception some horses take all before them but overall it takes TIME

Loved his defence tonight, well done young fella. Hope you can build on it.

He’s been putting some great hits on of late .

You can see him building. Just needs to work on the mistakes and he’ll be a dam good Center.

I think he will eventually move into the forwards. Runs hard and is a big lump of a lad. The most natural progression would be an edge but I’d be interested in seeing him as ball playing lock.

Is every Center’s destiny to be in the forwards?

LOL, no I am not Tim Sheens, but he lacks a bit of pace I reckon and will only get bigger

Great game, almost had that try aswell, unfortunately got a lil excited, could have tried to hide what he was doing better, but where did Talau become this strike weapon to catch bombs on the edges? It’s a recent thing! But him and douiehi being able to do that for us is big. Would have been a great try if it wasn’t for the penalty. My corner of the crowd was the closest and we where up until we heard that whistle ...

Kept on saying it, just give him time.

Big bodied, talented kid. He'll keep on improving.

Absolutely. Each game his belief that he belongs in the NRL grows stronger. As I wrote previously, having Brooks next to him especially in defence, has helped his game.

He is 21. At any other club he would not be playing first grade, but here he has been thrown to the wolves.

He is learning on the job.

I am not sure that he will ever be a superstar, but he has all the makings of a very good first grader. He needs to cut out the mistakes.

I have been lamenting Momorovski most of the year, but I thought Talau outplayed him last night.

All going well I think him and Kepoa could be a very good centre combination in a year or 2

Wests Tigers again defended errors penalties 6 agains last night..like NRL teams need to do..

Best game in a while from Tommy last night..

Played well last night, defended particularly well I thought. I'd like to see him show a bit more energy around the ball in attack though - didn't even try and support Liddle when he took off with the intercept.

I like Tommy and feel he has the makings of a good player. But the effort areas let him done. He never shows any energy on a chase whether is attack or defence

Or the wing . Not many see thier career out in the 3 and 4 . Especially in today’s game . It’s all about whacking blokes , and I think it just wears them out . They slow down a bit and then thier skills are way more useful as a hole running edge player . And then because they get bigger , eventually the speed goes , but the footy smarts remain so they move to lock .

Lawry, Lewis , Ruben wiki . Even BJ was an edge forward before they turned him into a centre . I think it’s also the Wade Graham , Aubusson, Matterson ,Sironen and dare I say it Schuster, AD and Talau types , who played 6 at juniors , and slowly but surely were too big for the centre’s .

He needs to use last nights game as a model on how to play & build from moving forward. He made the right decisions nearly every time with ball in hand and in defense. The kid isn’t a winger but it’s clear the closer infield he gets the better he shows his value to the team.
