That's right Toovey rips into the refs for getting to many penalties in a row ….Potter sits there with that look on his face . I suppose that is why one is a winner and the other can please himself, I love passion.

Toovey is being short sighted - It's not the amount of penalties in a row that's the issue - I believe that was done to hide the fact that the Tigers had incorrect decisions go against them, It's where and what they were for.

His team were repeatedly picked off for slowing down the ruck, and not being square at marker when our lads were gaining momentum, and defending on their line - that's really no biggie in the modern game.

It's when players get taken out during a jostle for a try, or when an obstruction leads to a try - That's where it's crucial as points are on the line.

Potter should have a meeting with the boss of the referees, perhaps just to discuss and understand their requirements. The WT are playing with too many disadvantages.

There is a time and a place for ripping into the referees. You don't get pumped by 30 because of a poor referee. If we'd lost by 10 points or less I'd expect a different reaction, but as Farah said, officials aside we were crap.
