Top 25 2017

So looking at who is signed up for next year and assuming RF goes and ET stays we have 22 signed up mayby 23 depending on whether Helata is top 25 in 2017 or still 2nd tier

Now looking at that squad of 22 when we talk about signings for next year I think our forwards are full for next year as far as top 25 go. So all the talk of Heighington, Moa, etc would require them to take a 2nd tier contract I would say or for Sironen to go elsewhere first.

What we do need in those 3 extra slots is backs. If we were to fill them internally

3\. Hunt

Now I know Helata is sined for next year but not sure if its top 25 or not.

What does everyone think do yu see any more room for forwards or just backs

Definitly think we need another winger, but i guess that depends on JAC. If rumours are true he is trying to get out of is contract and hopefully Nofa and him will be our long term wingers. But i agree with you definitly lighter on backs then forwards.

I don't think Ballin will be in the top 25 next year as he himself is unsure if he'll play on due to his knee.

Rankin is, other 2 are not. Need a back up half in your top 25

I'd like to see Ryan Papenhuyzen in the top 25\. He is going to play first grade and he does look special so lets start him in Intrust next year against the older guys and see if he can handle it. If he can, he could cover injuries and origin plus get some experience for the future. Watson Heleta will be there and for a smokey either Jeremy Marshall-King or Manaia Rudolph as a utility back/part time hooker.
