I think this seems the top 5 to me aswell. If Marion Seve wasnt injured this year he would be killing it in 20's and our holden cup team would be unbeatable(despite the fact we still might win the comp).

Heleta seems to be the best centre prospect I've seen for us since NYC started tbh. I haven't seen Seve yet and Simona didn't really dominate under 20s.

Heleta has been very good. However, his lack of size is going to be the biggest challenge in transferring to first grade. Good balance may not be enough against the better defenders in firsts.

Liolevave similarly, despite his destructive ability, has a size disadvantage.

Listed as 112kg, not small by any means

Believe me when you see Seve play he will make Heleta look like a donkey.

Heleta reminds me of Konrad hurrell. Build low to the ground like a tank and only runs straight and hard. Guys like that often kill it at junior level but struggle when they play men who actually know how to tackle. Happy to be proven wrong but can't see him progressing any further.

It's a massive shame Marion Seve missed so much of the year. I remember reading an article last year where a junior qld coach said he was the best junior he had seen since Israel Folau. Not a bad wrap.

Cherrington
Milone
Sirro Jnr Jnr
Temaire Martin
Seve /Lamar

Give me Milone every day of the week over Seve

And as I've said a few times in the past we need to get Ben Seve as well , has major wraps as well from an old school buddy / Jets assistant coach

Good call Demps, good call.

Agree with all the players mentioned ….I'd throw Funaki in there as well runs a great line

1\. Martin
2\. Cherrington
3\. Seve
4\. Liolevave
5\. Graham

Martin is definitely the most talented out of this bunch. Possibly best out of all the kids we've produced since Benji. He should be playing first grade towards the end of next season, injuries and form permitting. He's not tiny for a half, and will fill out over the next few years, but his passing and running game is superb.

Cherrington is obviously the heir apparent to Farah, however with the latter signed up for 3 more years one questions how much game time he'll actually receive outside of Origin.

Seve is the best centre prospect the club has ever had. Could even be a roughie for a spot in the NRL if he has a barnstorming off season. Fast, highly evasive and strong for his size (nut huge, but solid). Beats 3 opponents every time he touches the ball. If Dylan Walker can make the step up quickly, then so can he.

Liolevave has a lot of potential but will find his lack of height counts against him more when playing with the big boys in NRL/NSW Cup. He's a very nuggety 112kg, runs good lines and has a great combo with the like of Martin, Heleta and Seve.

Graham is just that Shane Walker type of no nonsense front rower who just carts the ball up all day long. Always makes solid metres and is solid in defence. Again not huge in size, but has the leg drive to be a menace at any level.

Other shoutouts would go to Heleta who has improved a lot this season as has Jordan Grant.

Milone is a long way behind the guys listed above and Sirro jnr jnr is still a very much unknown commodity, and should probably play back row next year, so as to not suffer the same delays in his career journey that Curtis has. Funaki has offered little in the 2nd half of the season and while he runs good angles i don't think he's either big enough nor has the leg drive to make it beyond nsw cup. He's still young though so hopefully can keep improving..!

Well I must be only watching Milone's good games

He will become better at positioning his wingers and picking the right time to run and pass

Someone mentioned Renouf , well I spent a lot of time playing against (and occasionally with ) Renouf and Milone is so similar at the same age

You never thought it would ever click with Renouf on a consistent basis , but it did and did big time

I reckon Renouf spent at least 18 months in reggies with the Broncos before he looked good

Gee I hope your right Happy.

I never rated Renouf's involvement but loved his balanced running style, and when he was involved he was dynamite…. That style has great hip strength meaning he was so hard to tackle. If Milone is anything like that then we will be very lucky
