Toyota Cup or NSW State Team???

Can players who are under 20 play in the NSW Cup teams???

I ask because I think a player like Lui needs time playing against men. Granted the "men" in the NSW Cup teams arent top notch, but they are bigger than under 20's and have more of an idea about the game itself. I think this would help the likes of Lui who looks lost in first grade coming from under 20's.

good post. Lui needs more time with men, not kids, to work on his cohesion. The only problem is will this level of football sharpen his skills considering the pace of the game and the pace of first grade. Sometimes Lui is found wanting in the area of spontaneity and speed around the rucks. Whereas Moltzen is there in the blink of an eye. So maybe we have a dilemma, lui can only improve playing first grade, but moltz is playing better at 7 than he does at 1.

Lui's big problem is that Moltzen is miles ahead with just as much improvement in him as Lui does. Moltzen should be the 7 and given the full year there unless its not working. Lui needs to wait his turn and if its him or Molzten…..easy decision!!! Ill take performance over potential any day of the week!!!

I would rather Lui played off the bench then in State Cup. Given his size and the options he provides, he would be excellent as the "back" on our bench if Sheens is determined to have one.
