2014 Souths didn't really
2015 Cronulla didn't
2016 NQ didn't.

If Saints didn't have the best team, who did?

if i remember correctly they had somewhere between 5- 7 origin rep players in their squad at the time

I read he had an eye problem that had to be fixed. He has great leg drive and attracts a lot of defenders , not a powerhouse prop but I think he can get the job done

We did IMO.

Mmmmm fair. I think we had more flair than the dragons that year but Saints defense choked the life out of teams. Still filthy we got pipped in the prelim by them

I personally think individual skill and being able to read the game is a major trait of all the good teams and is overlooked.

There's no point having an aggressive pack, the best coach or good game managers if the rest are dropping the ball, can't pass properly, get out of position or see an overlap.

Sounds obvious, but last year we had a few blokes who couldn't even carry the ball properly or stay in position on the wing.

6. Good fundamentals- WT would be 1/5 based on recent years

Passing, Catching kicking, ruck D and line D all pretty abysmal = no consistency except for the continual L's and few W's

Joking mate, I played badly for a long time before discovering contacts. Then I still played badly I just caught the ball a bit more often.

Agree mate it’s a pretty simple game when you strip it right back. Most times I can tell within 10 mins whether Wests Tigers are going to compete. Is it plod mode today or are they interested?

Haha yeah sometimes it’s earlier. I’d always watch Benji’s first tackle closely. He’d either stick out an arm or go spider monkey on them. If he went spider monkey he was up for it. ?
