1. Laurie
2. Nofo
3. Talau
4. Gildart
5. DWZ

Out of that backline JTJ would be my number one winger and probably centre too.

Still yet to see Roberts tested on the wing. He'll be up against sivo on Sunday so let's see how he goes. His two games on the wing have definitely been his best though, at centre he was pretty average however being fit and Injury free has certainly helped

I’m not saying he’s a superstar winger, but he’s better than Nofo and DWZ. They’re both nuffies. As for centres Talau is ok without being great and Gildart has his work cut out for him playing NRL.

There is no way he is better than Nofo. Nofo has been running it back hard and scoring some tries as well. He has just had a couple of poor mistakes in his game. He has done more than JTJ this year.

Half the time he runs sideways and his defence is appalling. I think Nofo is a complete myth, I don’t understand what people see in him.

He scores tries and he hits it up hard. I get that his defense is poor and he makes mistakes. He is a first grade quality winger with some flaws but wingers are often like that. He has been our best outside back by far excluding Doueihi.

We’ll have to agree to disagree. I think he’s been one of our worst.

There are 2 Noffa’s. One who goes looking for the collision and one who crabs across field cos he doesn’t want to get hit. The dud one normally shows up against good teams. This is a pattern I’ve observed for quite a while.

I love Noffa but he can be schizophrenic at times. The first held against the Cowboys was just diabolical. Let’s in try’s, gets out jumped, drop balls etc. Second half - hits the line with venom, score tries and nearly wins the game.

Interesting comment regarding his crabbing style. I think he does this look for an opening that he can use strength and tackle busting ability to break the line.

When he’s at his best he’s running straight and busting a tackle then getting away an offload. Some days he just doesn’t want to go hard at the line and he ends up jinking all over the place and getting driven backwards. It’s clearly a crisis of confidence to me.

It’s great you love your footy. It’s good to know what you’re dealing with but it’s just wonderful to concentrate on the game and forget everything else.

Again I think his flaws far outweigh his strengths, but thats just my opinion

Facts (except for the letting in 4 try's bit) :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:

I don't believe they'd be that stupid. Why would they let go of an overpaid player to get one in return? It does little for their cap relief.

I gotta admit, the hating on Noffa is like putting a dagger in my heart :joy:

I was actually on here promoting the club re-signing him because I can see the great player that he could be. But the difference between his best and worst has convinced me he might be part of our problem rather than our solution. ?

He seems more complete on the left. Brooks and Laurie do an amazing task cover defending. Talau also appears more complete on the left.

Dud for a dud ...great

1. Cancel the deal all together with DWZ
2. Cancel Joeys Club Option and offer him peanuts of 150-200K a year, take it or leave it
3. Spend either 400K if he signs for less, or 600K on a new player, possibly a forward or winger.

After watching Leilua on Saturday, he has no chance of NRL at WTs. He looked unfit, overweight, couldn't get back onside in time, wouldn't chase and was generally disinterested. Other than that I didn't have a problem with him.

I don't, JTJ is a centre, he is no giant and hasn't been tested under high kicks, which will find him out, he hardly creates metres on dirty hit ups, he is surely just a fill in at wing
