TEAM LIST Trial 1 vs. Warriors

Team List
Your reserve 2nd rowers are Kepaoa and Laulili...Matamua has shown nothing in first grade and Seyfarth has been nothing but a guy that has a go.

You're an optimist. I'll give you that.
Scott Sorenson was nothing but a guy having a go for many years, now he’s a 2 time premiership winner.
I don’t know where this misconception that every player 1-17 has to be a superstar comes from ?
With a Salary Cap to abide by, not possible to have 30 superstars in your squad, although some dodgy NRL clubs have a red hot crack at it,

Seyfarth showed genuine progress in his game in the back end of last year. One of not many. I think he's yet to hit his ceiling.

Ha! Salary code to abide by. Thanks for the laugh.

Bateman, Papalii, Kopaoa, Laulili, Seyfarth, Matamua…could be worse.

We're missing Fainu from that list.

We just need that strong #3 to emerge behind Bateman and Papalili

I think Laulili will be better for it after a full preseason - he has pedigree as an Australian Schoolboy and in a decent environment and a few early wins you never know what can happen. I think Kepaoa was a decent backup second rower this year (just a terrible centre and even worse winger), as was Seyfarth towards the end.
Matamua is a stretch, I agree. Here’s hoping.

As a comparison, the Bunnies still have Chee Kam as depth. I'm willing to give AJ one more shot. If he can hold the ball, he'd be decent.

He actually showed some promise in limited time before being pushed into the backs again.

Having a dedicated off season to train as a backrower and hopefully Benji sticks to him as a backrower this year then he has a chance to step up.
