Yep, I started paying at $15/month which I could easily justify to the Minister for Finance and Fashion. I think this is the third increase in about 5 years or so, at this rate, in another year or two I will have to take out a mortgage. I haven’t mentioned this latest increase to Mrs BF, she doesn’t take kindly to bills going up.

It is concerning to an extent.
1 it’s a trial.
And two as Ink suggested, I’d be curious to see how our best matches up vs theirs.
We all know our depth doesn’t hold a candle to the Warriors depth but that’s a different story.
I think we’ve got a more settled core of the squad this year with a lot of players returning to play in the same position this year. That’s going to help.

I got off Foxtel a few years back it’s a massive rip off

If you have a smart tv install the apps or use a fire cube / chromecast the individual monthly subscriptions don’t add up to Foxtel costs.

Also check your utility / banks as some have deals with Kayo/netflix/prime etc

We had multiple boxes and full package. Probably saved close to $1000 a year since binning Foxtel.

Judiciary news.
Warriors rookie Zyon Maiu'u was found guilty at the judiciary of Tuesday night but was successful in having a Grade 2 Reckless High Tackle charge downgraded to a Grade 3 Careless High Tackle, resulting in a two-game ban.

Despite it being a tough go for Casey. It did actually look like the tackle just prior to Maiu’u making contact contributed significantly to the player making head contact. Maiu’u faced Casey Square and he ended up falling into his trapizioid.

Fair call.

Still have Foxtel. Misses and I love it for the drama. I the sport. Though I’m on a grandfathered essentials package which had the option of adding or removing sport, as a good will gesture they added everything else when they did the new packaging plans. So I’ve got premium effectively without box sets channel and Netflix for the cost of essentials and sport HD.
Keeping it for now.

Has really pissed me off because in 2021 Telstra were offering KAYO to customers for $15 for 2 streams, so I decided to give it a go at that price.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got it for 12 months at $5 because I had 2 mobile phone services, the next year I continued the service which was offered to me if I stayed on for $15.

When that deal ran out I ended up paying full price of $30 for 2 streams and cancelled the service in the off season and only just put it back on for the pre season games a week or so ago, once again at $30 for 2 streams but next billing period it is going up to $35.

What a rip off, and as GNR has pointed out previously, other streaming services are available for under $20 a month.

I know Foxtel can be expensive but at least you can tailor the package to some extent but with KAYO it's all or nothing. Unfortunately all I want is Rugby League.

I only pay $20 a month... think they offered me a deal when it was about to run out last year.
Both my sons share it (neither living with me) and toss in for the cost every now and then.

Yeah that’s the Telstra deal I started on, but it’s a jip now. I think someone on here said Foxsteal owns Kayo? It’s a du/monopoly, what competition do they have? Where else can I get NRL and cricket all year? Sports like NRL, cricket and AFL should be free to air.

But if you can’t beat them join them, I reckon we should do a major sponsorship deal with Kayo and part of that deal is members get discounts and all grades of Wests Tigers to be shown live and promote the families can watch their kids on Kayo from 15 all the way through to NRL.
