The more I look at that Earl, the more I think you're just about spot on, with maybe a couple of youngsters coming on throughout the year. I'm more than happy with that line-up.

Yes they did but one thing that I noticed today is If the passes stick the Tigers will be hard to beat I counted 14/15 passes in 1 try and Canberra was ran off there feet and totally different attack body's in motion making the defence make decisions under fatigue
Top game, really enjoyable and hoping for more. No doubt we are going to have fun with the old fella back, just praying it is 2010-11 fun, not the 2006-2009 edition, which had plenty of points and plenty of heartbreak.

200 passes a day, bagged. Defence bagged, teamwork bagged, coaching bagged. Early days, but they looked good. Klemmer, and paps showed the work ethic, and they followed. AD has learnt to use his hands and when not to run, and had a great game, The whole side dug in, congradulations.

Don’t think you could ask for much more then that from a trial. Result aside the defence and style of play very enjoyable to see. A lot of guys throwing their hands up giving Tim a big headache for round 1.

Kenny was one of the very few players who could hold his head up after the 2022 season. It’s unfortunate for him but even if fit I don’t think you can leave Junior Tupou out of the Round 1 side.

That sucks. @rusted-on - I'd have Seyfarth over Twal but I can understand picking Twal. To me Seyfarth is more mobile and quicker which means he is less of a plodder.

I reckon Twal is okay but we have better middle forwards.
Regardless, I think it is great to have competition for positions, something we have not had in a while. Really liked James as well. I have seen him before and liked what I saw. Should be a much better year 🙂

Earl even though the young guys did very well today, you forget once the season proper starts we will need more experienced players such as Twal doing the hard work while the younger guys gain experience slowly...no good putting the young guys out to shine when they need to learn more, and most of all we DONT NEED long term injuries early to them which dents the confidence...but I liked your line up,but as you know Sheens comes up with totally different teams and surprises us all...

I love big Ken but with his injury history and after today if a club was ruthless they would medically retire him with as much respect as they can.

Good team but be surprised if Bateman plays, so Twal for his experience, first game of the year.

Nofo as well for his experience and he has shown he brings can bring the ball back well from kicks with a quick play the ball
