AD took control of that game after a rocky first few minutes - big year for him incoming.

• Tupou played 77 mins on left wing
• Ice and Tumeth shared left edge, Kepaoa, Blore and Tuki the right
• 60 mins for Ice, 50 for Klem and Stef
• Kepaoa used in back row and centre
• Smith shared 9 with Simpkin
• Laurie used at fullback and half
• Maumalo (knee) the only injury concern
• Successful return from injury for Blore (knee)

Tupou/AD/Laurie from the backs, but forwards put the platform down. Klemmer massive in D and balanced attack

2 - Blore (that side of the field just looked more dangerous and powerful from the moment he came on)
1 - Douiehi (Did some really good things with ball in hand and looking like he can build some good combinations out wide).

HM - Talau (2nd game back from ACL and I thought he was really strong on both offense and defense)
- Tupou (Dangerous with the ball, saw him put his body on the line in defence and even though he copped a few whacks, he kept taking a few carries)

Could name plenty more, but will leave it there. I know its only a trial, but at least we could take some real positives out of this one.

Haven't seen anyone mention this - His first game of NRL for a year or so...
I thought he was more than decent.
Would have preferred to see him get the 30th spot over Wakeham.

Wakeham surprised me. He played well today. It's a shame Seyfarth refused that offer from NZ, Smith would be very handy in the top 30
