Tupou/AD/Laurie from the backs, but forwards put the platform down. Klemmer massive in D and balanced attack

Did not notice Laurie do much. Dropped a bomb. Also let another one bounce in front of him. Almost scored a try. But most other players would have scored that one.

The cohesion showed today, considering how many new faced there are, was nothing short of amazing. It's a trial, but there were lots and lots of good signs today and plenty of competition for spots

Wakeham was ok, will smith was better than a slapper, but would have like to see a bit more of Laurie

Smith set up the play for the 1st Tupou try. Play was going nowhere when he decided to take the line on and shifted the ball wide.

• Ice and Tumeth shared left edge, Kepaoa, Blore and Tuki the right
• 60 mins for Ice, 50 for Klem and Stef
• Kepaoa used in back row and centre
• Smith shared 9 with Simpkin
• Laurie used at fullback and half
• Maumalo (knee) the only injury concern
• Successful return from injury for Blore (knee)

Honestly I can’t see a spot for Maumalo in our team….

I never heard of this James chap previously. He was very impressive when on and imo deserves the wraps given
