Tumeth can do a job there as well
 
With the 2nd trial reserved for our first-look team and this trial reserved for 'giving the young guns a go' and playing potential players in their second position, it is interesting to see certain players named and others omitted.

  • Seems that Blore has made the top 17 and will play in trial 2/round 1.
  • Talau named at centre here points to him possibly not being a starting centre in the top 17.
  • Staines at number one points to Laurie as our first-choice fullback.
  • Stefano at prop may suggest a bench spot for him round 1. So starting props could be Klemmer and Twal.
  • I still feel Pole will get a bench spot in our round 1 team.

That's my takeaways. Could be totally wrong but it is telling.

St Joseph's old boy, played a bit in
the XV with Scolari at inside center
and left wing. Former 7's rep and
Randwick 1st grader. Pretty fast,
smart footy player. He hasn't got
a lot of experience in the halves,
interesting to see how he goes ...

Yeah bro he's a goer thats for sure,
what he lacks in size he makes up for
in tenacity. My only concern was how
small he looked at times, he is a good
footballer though there's no doubt

I'm particularly interested in seeing Staines at fullback, Reilly at 6, and how Tupou and Kepaoa look - if those two can fire this year we will kill it, as outside backs have been a real weakness.
