I wasn't expecting to see Reilly at 5/8 either. Interesting to see how that pans out too.

What I'm really keen to see is the way our play is structured - perhaps I should say less structured!

Stefano as captain - recognition for his work over the off season no doubt. Good to see some young blokes in real leadership roles. I hope he excels!

Very disappointing...

On the positive side...we have some genuine forward depth. Stef and Pole excellent, Tumeth great depth.

On the negative side....if Sheensy's plan was to elevate Brooks value in fan's minds, he is right on track because we have ZERO halves depth. We have never needed Brooks more.

Essentially if Brooks, AD or Api get a bad injury we may finish last again.

If all three have strong seasons, we may do okay and should compete each week.

But we have absolutely no depth in those key positions at all. Warriors 6 tonight could not crack Cronulla and is their back up...he looked multiple levels above ours.

He has silky hands...but is MULTIPLE levels below NRL standard in terms of pace and IQ.

He looks like a sevens rugby player...which he is. Those passes in amateur rugby beat defenders.

Even at state cup level they are way, way, way too slow. At NRL level they are mistakes waiting to happen every time.
