Very disappointing...

On the positive side...we have some genuine forward depth. Stef and Pole excellent, Tumeth great depth.

On the negative side....if Sheensy's plan was to elevate Brooks value in fan's minds, he is right on track because we have ZERO halves depth. We have never needed Brooks more.

Essentially if Brooks, AD or Api get a bad injury we may finish last again.

If all three have strong seasons, we may do okay and should compete each week.

But we have absolutely no depth in those key positions at all. Warriors 6 tonight could not crack Cronulla and is their back up...he looked multiple levels above ours.

Any future talk of Scolari in firsts needs to be scrapped.

He was very poor. He has bulked up since Flegg, but looks miles below NRL standard.

I am a huge Rua fan...him and Scolari were stars in Flegg in 21...but Rua was atrociously bad tonight. Horrible passing from dummy half and fell off D multiple times.

Both really poor. Not prepared to write both off, but many players never make the transition from Flegg stars to NRL level.

Hopefully tonight was a one off for both.

I'm not writing them off but you can't teach talent.

They're both very young,but seem one trick ponies diving over the line from dummy half rather than throwing a decent pass at someone running onto it
Surely that can be coached?

I don’t rate either of them very highly.

Yep agree, so much for 200 passes, not only our halves were clunky, passing in general was bad.

Unsure...just had a few pm's, most agree what I'm saying.... play your best side, find out your deficiencies and trial 2 to sort it out. I just don't understand losing to see who stood out in a crap side...,well the obvious happened, those exspected to play nrl played well...Pole, Ute, Mata etc. Stupidity, we got the wooden spoon, why not try to win 100k and get the sponsors, supporters and media on board...all we did tonight was...."oh dear, here we go again 😭)

Not really...but he can intercept and run 100metres for a try.,!
Liddle was more of the same as the 2 "young guns" tbh

Most of these young blokes need a season or two in Joe cup and become a little battle hardened rather than believing hype from junior careers
Hopefully they're not rushed into nor and set up to fail
