Tui never fullback again

With Noffa looking like he’ll be out for a few weeks I’d say he’ll be staying put.

I don't care who comes in, he has to go, no heart I am at a loss to explain my frustration with him.
Get Mbye here ASAP this guy is not up to the job. 😛ray:

We could always bring your other mate Kev in.

Kev would be a great replacement for him, has more heart in his little finger than Tui has in his whole body, why do you say my other mate, you are just making stuff up.
I will spell it out for you so you don't have to make anymore stuff up.
1- Taylor never ever play 9, Killer in
2- Benji cooked to ISP, not only playing bad, holding Brooks back
3- Tui absolute joke at the moment, ISP for a very long time
4- MCK back to bench

looks good to me

Theres an old saying you cant polish a turd….i was sceptical last year signing a bloke who couldnt crack into a basket case like the warriors....imo he's turned out to be the dud some of us thought....i question this clubs talent identification processes

Ive been a fan of Tui and really wanted him to succeed however he has struggled as a fullback in both grades.

Someone I know has done some work with the ISP team and stated he had a bad attitude back there because he felt he was too good for reserves. Not sure how true it is as he’s been wrong before but Tui’s performances have not convinced me otherwise.

Well I admit I was wrong. I have defended Tui all season - I thought he was being judged too soon and unfairly but today was indefensible.
Thompson
MWZ
Masters
Kev
Fonua
Reynolds
Brooks
Marshall 14

Agreed, he wasn't prepared to put his body on the line. I really like Tui and I backed him up untill this point since he's come over but he just hasn't live up to his potential. He isn't a natural fullback but from what I've seen so far he hasn't imporved.

Stop blaming Tui and blame the club who are one of the very few who have not used a reasonable percentage of their CAP this year in buying players in the positions which they have been desperately needed throughout 2018\. The only player left at the moment which I think can replace Tui is Kev and he is gone at the end of the season.

So many are saying "save the CAP so we can sign Nathan Cleary" but there is no guarantee that he will play for us in 2019 and anyway we are well off for halfbacks and five eights with Brooks, Reynolds , Tui, Benji and possibly Gamble. Why didn't we sign a hooker before June 30? For the rest of 2018 we are down the stream without a paddle in this important position. We are so desperate we really need to sign Farah ASAP for the rest of this season and 2019.

I jut have no idea how people have so much hope for a bloke that is not fit enough for a first grade fullback. Cl;ear evidence in his body shape. Its embarrassing. Its not quite Owen Craigie but its mini Owen.

He doesn't want it badly enough. Were trying to build a new culture and we have a lazy, fat fullback loafing around out there.

We had full pre season to rip and get shredded like 95% of Fullbacks in the NRL.

Just cut him.

Careful Eddie, I got roasted for suggesting this earlier in the year

He was average, no denying that. The sad part is he’s capable of a lot more. I think it’s a mental thing. Not sure where his head is at.

If we cant get Mbye this season we would be better off putting Sue at the back if Tui is going to keep dishing up this rubbish.

He is a much better 5/8 but would prefer Reynolds there.

He’s not fit that gives you a fair idea of where his head is at. It’s like turning up for work drunk….you are no chance.

How quick do people change their opinions on a player? Just the other week people we're talking up about how good Fonua was then he has one bad game and people turn on him. Same as Tui, I thought he was very solid last week and I thought he did fairly well today apart from that 1 mistake he made where the ball bounced off his head. I don't think there's any reason for Thompson to be picked at fullback instead of Tui, Thompson made some mistakes when he played at fullback, like how he let the ball bounce a fair bit. Tui is solid right now and he will come good, he's not lazy he's still injured. His knee is still heavily strapped and you could see him limping off his injured knee. I saw him attempt to do a step off his injured knee and I could tell by his reaction of how much pain he was in.

Very good honest response mate…..unfortunately a lot of the keyboard warriors want blood....

If Tui has to be booted for a poor performance, then Benji must also go with him because he is holding Brooks back atm and watch him kick in goal and run sideways not to get tackled and hurt…Benj has had his day in the sun...on the bench and let Grub have ago at 5/8...

Larry that is the trouble with our club, it is never anyone's fault, no accountability, always an excuse, well not me he has had plenty of chances, see you mate, ISP for a very long stretch

He's no fullback, of that I am convinced. 6 is his position, whether he's doing enough to displace Benji is another matter.
