I just don't get the lack of info from the club .....if it's bad it won't change the time frame

Its sort of shows the different mindsets ...Manly came out on the front foot ...we seem to be being coy about it

Maybe he needs more tests? Maybe it needs time to diagnose? Who knows, what difference will it make? None

They can get the results of a scan in 24 hours

Even if a scan is inconclusive and another 24 hours , worst case Tuesday

Why not come out and say if it was inconclusive ...be honest with your fans

There will be an injury update today..calm down..

Fax broken again .....carrier pigeon got avian bird flu ......dog ate Madge's homework

There's no rush about knowing what will happen with Twal's injury.

He will be back playing when fit, I don't see the urgency in telling the public (and opposition) that information, the focus should be on best treatment and recovery.

Say you need to recruit a replacement, why tell the opposition (and public) info that will improve their bargaining power?

I suppose if we had a balanced squad we wouldn't have to worry

If his knee has blown up with mcl damage it needs time to reduce inflammation before extent of damage can be assessed. I know with my knees at different times the orthopedic specialist needed a few days to get inflammation of joints, muscles, tendons etc under control before they could do x-rays and MRIs in any meaningful way. Today in the timeframe since injury sounds about right for a full report.

With the advancements in sports science the days of waiting for swelling to go down has gone

Gotta say mate, you find some weird ways to find reasons to hate on the club.

I dont have a medical degree and i'd guess at best your in your 4th maybe 5th year of yours, my point being we really dont have any idea on the procedures and treatments Twal may or may not have done. I dont think its a conspiracy by the club to withhold info.

They’re waiting on the results for three different players before releasing the injury report which is coming today. No rush to send it out they’re making sure all the info is there.

Twal will be out 4 weeks minimum, looks an MCL injury.

Pity you didn't know much about BRAINS....common sense would tell you the club want to have a definite diagnosis of all injuries before informing the general public and the members of the results...patience my boy...

Based on what injury time looks Blore has a good opportunity for first grade in the next few weeks.

Does anyone *actually* know the status of Blores injury recovery?

The club reported he’s doing full training with the team and is out of rehab a few weeks ago.

Is Blore injured? Before we signed him? That sounds like a very WT thing to do?

Such a shame,. Not just for the team, but for him personally. He’s just starting to turn heads, and I’d even go as far as saying he’s got the attention of the Origin selectors. The injury could have been worse, but it’s a momentum killer.

I am a massive fan of Alex. 100% type player who has a huge motor but I am not sure he would necessarily be on Origin radars as I think his attack is a work in progress. He takes his hit ups but being tall doesn’t really bend the line and doesn’t offload much. Actually, the offload is a bit of a weird one as I he looks to have an opportunity but chooses not to? I thought I read here when he signed that he had an awesome offload as a junior. For mine, he is a bit one dimensional in attack but defensively superb. Is that enough to get an origin jumper?

Depends on the coach. Freddy seems to like impact players on the bench. Passed up Matterson for Sims last year
