Because he has been in the 21 every single week. Cleary rates him.

Godinet has some hot and cold moments that Taylor could easily cover.

**Gamble just offers more at 14,** plays hard, plays to the line can cover a few positions.

Is that good enough for you guys?

Considering he hasn't played a second of NRL I don't know how you can say this

Its called an opinion

And you’re entitled to it …... I just think at this stage of his development such a move would do him more harm then good.

From what ive seen he isnt too fussed on these type of things. Parra could be a good game to debut.

The only way I can see Gamble playing is if Liddle is unavailable due to injury

6\. Benji
7\. Brooks
9\. Godinet
14\. Gamble

Has he ever played hooker?

I’m not sure but ET can fill in at hooker and Gamble can slot in at 5/8 to give Benji a rest. I am sure he could fill in at lock or hooker of Ivan asked him to if it meant getting a FG debut.

Not to fussed about what type of things? I’m unsure what you mean by this.

You clearly feel he deserves a 1st grade spot and think he’d do okay off the bench. I’ve only know him as a 5/8 and feel he would be best served debuting as a 5/8.

My question is why do you feel he’d be a good 14? What positions has he played in ISP (QLD or NSW) that would suit him to this role?

I mean he isnt too fussed about the so called pressure. He is a first grader in the making. All that is left to debate is how he makes his debut.

I see him coming from the he bench as a utility.

Others just cant cop that opinion.

All good.

I also see him as a player with a long 1st grade career in front of him. I see him as a 6 and feel he would be best coming into that role.

He’ll get a shot at some stage this year as either a 6 or a 14\. I just wonder how he will be used as a 14 as I am unsure of his experience in roles outside the 6.

Good luck to the kid whatever happens. Ivan clearly rates him.

I would play Gamble at fullback and Thompson to the wing Gambles two best positions are 5/8 and fullback

Has he been training at fullback during the offseason?

I don't know but he has played some fullback in QLD cup went ok maybe give him a game in Reggies at the back then maybe Thompson to wing and Gamble to fullback in First

If he’s played fullback in QLD cup I’m all for him having a go in NSW cup if he wants to but his position at this stage is 6 and changing position is a step backwards.

I don't think the coaching staff see him this way.

I'm sure he could fill in anywhere.

But the question is - "Is it going to improve the team?"

I think not - just my opinion.

You can have all the opinions in the world, facts to back them up gives you some credibility.
Lots of opinions… No facts, just many unanswered questions.
If you wanna talk this guy up you should at least know what you're talking about

I believe only Tui Thompson and Smith trained at fullback during preseason

Exactly. Cleary is not going to play a bloke at fullback who hasn't extensively trained there.

Can they give Gamble a run in Reggies at fullback see how he goes or will it hurt Tui's feelings ?

Gamble is a real talent waiting for an opportunity, maybe he should be given his chance now whilst Reynolds is playing co-commentator at another ground while tigers players are busting their butts in Tamworth.
Whilst I have the floor Noffa needs to be dropped again and thrown a tackle bag, the familiar running in, turning and chasing cost us the game against the Knights.
