Interesting watch
@Tucker
Worth a sus
Yeah that’s pretty wild. I would say though that soldiers and combat sports do go hand in hand. It’s just that you rarely see sportsmen become soldiers, it’s usually the other way round.

I’ve been getting back into MMA lately, albeit old school stuff.
Don Frye, Dan Severn, Mark Coleman, Ken Shamrock, Bas Rutten, Tank Abbott etc…real men. Proper hardarse psychos who competed in actual Ultimate Fighting Championships over the course of one day - no weight classes, no time limits. Fight until someone wins through submission or KO.
I watched UFC 10 a couple of weeks back. Don Frye took on Mark Coleman in the final. Coleman was over 6 ft and 120 kilos of muscle. Don was solid as but a lot smaller. They fought for 12 minutes before Coleman beat Frye through a series of headbutts on the ground.
Tough bastards man…..

That's how the UFC should be, no rounds. (there should be weight classes, though.) It just doesn't represent a realistic fighting situation having rounds and starting on your feet again the next round.
