Um.. How did we lose that?

What a capitulation. Happy for the Cowboys though. They never gave up.

Definately missed Brooks tonight. Though JLJ scored, he is still worse than Leo Dynevor.

Clearly a case of inexperience being run down… We don't have the cattle

True Ink but after their past performances I thought they may have gotten these capitulations out of their game.

JLJ and Tui can't close a game out, and relying on Brooks who couldn't close a book let alone a game is false hope.

Truth is no point in risking Brooks and JT if semi fit as the Cowboys done with many of their players tonight with our position.
However reckon if either played we win. Just can't have an inexperienced team missing key positional players and somehow going forward the club and players must learn to play carrying injuries more.
Theres alot to look forward to and we have picked up some good wins and close losses but a win to finish would be great for off season confidence.

Funny Teddy way out of position for their 2 tries off kicks.

:roll
We desperately need a new halfback !

Yeah brooks would have got us home. Like he's never done before.
We're putting in every week which is half the battle but we lack class on the spine.

I thought the first 40 from JLJ was better than what Brooks has produced all season , but I can't remember many highlights from Brooks's game
Lolohea is an air head .

It's one I thought we would win, tbh. Cows down on troops and us playing a whole lot better after recent games (i.e. Manly, Easts), plus playing at Campbelltown against a team that we have a good record against. It was really disappointing to lose this one and for all but 15 minutes we probably would've won.

We lost because of a stupid momentum shifting penalty and then dropped our collective bundle. Couple this with a battle hardened team of warriors who were playing for their season and never gave up on any play in the second 40.

Not one player from our spine is strong enough to control the game. Tedesco has great moments in attack but when the game is on the line doesn't have a kicking game or control of the team to steer them around the park. Lolohea is an average first grader with a poor kicking game who needs to look more when he is passing. Littlejohn is a poor mans Jordan Rankin, enough said. Mcilwrick is a reasonable defender but that is it, offers nothing with the ball and doesn't have a kicking game. When your trying to close a game down you need someone like Morgan to step up, he won that game for the Cowboys. Our players just aren't skillful enough or smart enough to do it. Next year will be more of the same. It will be strange next year when our forward pack will be our strength and our backs will be the supporting cast.
