Under the Radar

Both Hindmarsh and Cam Smith were asked in the press conference who would win the comp, and neither said the Tigers. Asking most people, they aren't mentioning our club as winning, or as even getting to the Grand Final.

And we are 2nd.

Hope we can keep this up!

I'll stay silent until we win the big one. If your not first, your last. Then give the doubters and naysayers hell.

thats it mate… dont be like parra and start saying.... if you do this we'll name a train after you blah, blah, blah.... let everyone run their mouths... then when we take out the big one... BOOOOMMM UNLEASH HELL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Tigers dont seem to have the respect of other teams I notice.

Sure the Drags are the standout of late…Any success is usually put down to a fluke or some luck.

Has anyone else picked up on this?

You're on the money Spartan.

Rather than praising the Tigers on a win, the media (News Ltd in particular,) have a tendency to make excuses for the other side. I.e our win against Melbourne (Inglis & Finch injured) and our win against Parramatta wasn't because we played for 70 minutes of the game, it was because the Eels played for 10 minutes of it and came up short.

Rothfield in his blog has said numerous times the Tigers have been arsey and lucky. Let the fools have their say, they'll look stupid in the end if the boys take the prize.

If the media dont think the Tigers are a chance, they are kiddn themselves… The only teams in the 8 we havnt beatn are the Roosters & Dragons. Further more, we have the best Home Ground Win percentage in the comp and have beatn plenty of teams by 2-6 points.

For me, winning the tight contests all year is more of a sign we are 'mentally' ready to win this comp, rather than in 2005...
