UTAI - I NEED HELP TO UNDERSTAND

Big T is 190.5cm and 117 kg. beat aysh over 40 as well and i think kept pace with koro over 40\. But koro would win by a second over 100m i think. Good acceleration basically.

Maybe it's time to make the value of a try less if it's scored from another boring bomb.

You betcha…the bomb is a disease in the NRL at the moment. Teams just plod over halfway with no idea and then just hoist a bomb and hope for the best, it is garbage IMO. Watch an old replay from the 90's and there were hardly any bombs, tries were scored from skill with handling the ball....as the game was intended to be.
Give it another 10 years and every team will just have 7ft tall goobers on the flanks that can leap high, I certainly don't get much enjoyment or satisfaction from seeing tries from bombs: it is a lottery. Grubbers still have a place in the game though, they require a bit more thought to execute properly.

Thought Reddy was very good on the weekend. Might see Utai cooling his heels for the immeadiate future at least

Time to extend the mark in goal zone back to the 20m. At the very least players will get rewarded for defusing a bomb, instead of stand there and let it bounce.

Any defused bomb in the field of play should go to the mark from where the bomb was kicked from and start from zero tackle

Be rewarded for doing a good job

I thought reddy was good also, lets hope Mick keeps him there, can't drop him after that effort

Players should be picked on current form so Reddy should retain the wing spot.

14 hits ups 125 metres are very good stats

I am far from a Reddy fan but he was far safer than Utai and deserves to hold his spot until one of the young blokes is ready.Utai is a terrible wing option

I don't know what happened to Utai. Last year he was one of our best, the first game, he has gone to pieces.
I have never seen him played so bad. I hope he can improve, as he tried his heart out last year. He was also good the year before.

I think Reddy deserves to retain his spot after the game against the Panthers. He was incredibly safe under the high ball, his positioning was good, and he made solid ground in his kick returns. I thought he made some good metres in attack and didn't really make any/many errors. Utai has been good for us the previous two seasons especially given his salary but everyone knew he was a ticking time bomb. His deficiencies under the high ball were obvious and he also made terrible defensive decisions. He would continually rush up and in to put pressure on defenders but would also gift space to his opposing winger creating an overlap of sorts. Opposition teams never really targeted him as much as they should have until this year and i'm not too sure why. I think this will definitely be his last year in first grade but at least he provides us with depth and perhaps could become handy coming off the bench playing in the backrow or as cover for any outside backs if there were any injuries during the season.
