When I saw the bench(*&^%$!!)I figured Sheens was going to do something insightful & intelligent & play Utai as a forward,which is probably his most impactful & least risky role …but nup,it was same old Utai on the wing & 85kg Beau in the second row.

I disagree- Utai should come off the bench. Ryan is far better against the kick, and offers nothing as far as impact off the bench, while Utai should be a situational foward for 10-15 minutes a half- his running against tired defense is very good.
Having Utai at 14 gives you cover for the backs in case of injury, but still allows the Tigers the full use of the bench without carrying an 'injury cover guy' for 74 minutes.

i think utai has been a pretty good buy for us considering how cheap we got him for. you can see he puts in the effort. the only thing about his game that annoys me is how sometimes he uses his foot/leg to stop the ball when he should just catch it. i dont think he will be on the right wing next year with reddy coming to the club though.
