Barring injuries, I think Utai will spend most of his time in NSW Cup. After last years effort he does deserve another year, but in 2012 with the signings we've made I think we will have better options for the bench.

@alexaki said:Dont laugh…I reckon Utai would be a great PROP....used in the same mould as Gallen is in SOO and the Test side...great drive; hard to put down; and can offload!!
@Demps said:i just don't want to see him in the back line…

and thats exactly how Sheens plays him..as a wide running prop/back rower.
But on the end of a slick backline he's just too slow to convert opportunities,& is a total liability in defence (ask gasnier)or under the high/bouncing ball
If he's a surrogate prop, play him there & get him out of the backline
@underdog said:Prop as per alexaki would be interesting, or Lock.
But with Heighno, Woods, BMM, Fulton, Blair, Bell, Reddy, Ryan (LOL!!!!) and Groat all potentially in front of him covering those roles it would be another horrendous injury toll which would see us using him for that role.
@LukeH said:I think the only player that hits the ball up as hard constantly is Uate. I love watching Utai smash it up, but there is a down side, and defensively I think he's a touch of a liability.
