With Brown and Tuqiri yes As was mentioned as soon as Utai was signed this was a major deficency in his game so we shouldn't be to surprised
But it will such a great shame to lose his go forward What to do ??

Use him off the bench

Drop him. Have been calling for him not to be in the side since the St. George game at Kogarah. Cannot read in defence, can't catch bombs and last night his handling was awful.

This "go forward" argument does not fly. Please tell me the last team to win a competition on the back of strong runs from dummy half by wingers. Competitions are won on the back of defence and low errors.

Tiquiri, Ryan and Brown should be first choice wingers.

I have been a big fan of Matt this year but last night's performance was very, very ordinary.

If he has a broken hand he should be rested for a few weeks when Lote comes back.

Very ordinary performance last night.

However the reality is he probably shouldn't have played. If my info is spot on he required several injections in his hand to play. This was obvious. Look at the way he is carrying his right arm throughout the game. Its like it is almost half lame.

The Purtell jump happens but they were only there because of stupid penalties

Brown and utai offer swapped so brown would leap for the bomb, once they got caught out, and obviously utai is no good under the high ball. I have been impressed with utai this year tho and would give him the bench spot next week if lote returns..

He cant catch high balls, low balls, bad balls and good balls. The guy is now the no1 target and each week is slipping back further. Okay he makes some great dirty yards, but yards gains vrs yards lost and he is miles behind. Of course than theirs his reads in defense that are not up to scratch either. Fitzy got murdered on these boards and really I think he probably was a better winger than Utai, big call i know

no utai isnt quite that bad. atleast he runs straight and hard. both have feet as hands though

if utai has been injured the last 2 games then he shouldnt have been playing

It will be interesting to see whether parra target him next week and what the WTs have in place to assist Utai, if the eels do target him.

Will they target him???? Mate a blind bloke with a white cane and a Labrador would target him, with a little bit of luck Lotte will get his jumper, but with Sheens pulling the names out of the hat anything is possible. As I said he is a one trick pony, good for dirty yards but at the end of the day is well in the negative yards with turn overs miss tackles and dropped high balls. Dont get me wrong, the guy has passion and ticker and I would never doubt his effort, god I would not last the warm up drills but we have better options

WESTS Tigers coach Tim Sheens is expected to bring back international winger Lote Tuqiri for next Sunday's clash with Parramatta.
Left winger Matt Utai is facing the axe to accommodate Tuqiri, who has managed only five NRL appearances this year.

The return of the dual international comes at an opportune time for the Tigers, who have lost left centre Chris Lawrence until week one of the finals with a hamstring injury.

Tuqiri missed eight weeks after breaking his arm in round four, only to return and sustain a severe high ankle sprain against Newcastle in round 14.

Right winger Beau Ryan is expected to retain his position despite Tuqiri's return.

Tigers back-rower Liam Fulton admitted Tuqiri's inclusion was guaranteed to add an extra dimension to the Tigers' left-edge attack.

"Lote should be right for this week, so that'll be a big boost. He's missed a lot of footy, so to get him back now will definitely add something," Fulton said. "He's been there and done that - and we're missing Chris Lawrence on that side now, so to get him back will be a bonus."

Fulton and fellow back-rower Gareth Ellis were outstanding for the Tigers as the club made it five wins in a row against Penrith on Friday.

But Sheens still found plenty of fault in the victory, reprimanding the side for allowing Panthers winger Ryan Walker to score a late consolation try.

"That was probably my fault because I dropped the ball off the kick-off - I'll take the blame for that," Fulton said.

"I tried to put my foot over the sideline because Brad Tighe kept kicking the ball to me all night and it ended up dropping in front of me.

"It was one of those games that was hard to get up for because Penrith had all their star players out.

"So we had to make sure we got our heads around it and still put in a professional performance. To get the win was good."

The Tigers are shooting for the top four and must win their remaining games against Parramatta, Gold Coast and Cronulla - and have other results go their way - to be any hope.

Prop Keith Galloway said the club was re-energised after putting the mid-season uncertainty surrounding contracts for next season to rest.

"A win's a win, but our completions (weren't great) and I was guilty of a couple of mistakes," Galloway said. "So we've got some stuff to work on, but it's another win, our fifth in a row.

"Lote's probably a good chance of playing next week, and if not then it looks like it will be the week after."
