Utai

I'm not sure it was Gasnier. Watched it again and I think the player kicking the ball away ended up with his foot near Utai's face (not intentionally?). But Geez Louise, he had a brain snap.

Regardless of all the bagging he made a valuable 117m tonight

i'm not bagging him,i thought he was good tonight.I'm just trying to work out the brain snap

Yeah, I saw number 17 - Dean Young kick the ball off. But commentators said Gasnier.

Not sure what was happening, a mate at the game thought it was to give them time to set up a backline move. He very pissed that they did it - negative tactics.

Maybe Utai thought the same? (doubt it)

Not sure why he kicked the ball away. The clock was off and Young could have slowly brought the ball back to the scrum.

Oh and Utai was always going to be under-pressure tonight. They kicked to him alot and the back three did well under the high ball in the most part.

Except for letting the ball bounce awkwardly towards the end. McKinnon was close by and Benji acted like it was kryptonite and didnt want to touch the damn thing.

His yardage was great again but if he had tried to tackle Morris when Morris scored around the legs he would of put him into touch

I was and to be fair still am a little tipsy but I thought Utai had his hand down to pick up the ball and when Young Kicked it he also kicked Utais hand which in the moment would have sparked it

Hahaha Gary you may not care but I'm sure the team especially Robbie off the back of his big runs and quick play the balls.

No other back I'd rather have hitting the ball up on kick returns than Utai atm. He smashes it up and also takes pressure off the forwards.

I thought he played well last week but had a shocker last night. Right from the get go he just didnt seem to be on his game. The result was good, though.

Could not care about the metres. Defensive time bomb waiting to happen. Morris try case in point.

Brown and Ryan on the wings.

You are kidding yourself. He runs the ball off our line like a forward and gives us a good start to our set. He also never gets turned which gives a quick play the ball, he has phenomenal leg drive and I reckon hes been a great signing for us.

Uai is good at bringing the ball back but I must agree with you. Why else would the other team single him out? Last night I was cringing whenever the ball went his way!

I am almost certain this is what happened. Utai was going to pick it up and dean young kicked it. It was obvious at the end that the dragons were just trying to provoke the tigers into a fight so that they would give away a penatly to take a shot at goal, such as holding Bryce by the throat.

I thought Utai was fine tonight, he was tested under the high ball and went alright, and his running back really had some venom in the second half when we were starting to get tired.

Am I the only one who thinks we need to through the cutout more often and get him one on one with his winger when we are inside there 20\. Surely the opposing winger will not be able to stop him.
