Vale Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan hey.......Obviously it takes smart minds to make a successful business i.e WWF/E but HE was the drawcard when I was a young fella. There were others ( Including our own Tito) but Hogan was as big as it got. Thunderlips in Rocky 3 and the headline act for the early Wrestlmanias at a time when there was only free to air TV in Australia. Had to get the parents to tape it as it would be on so late. Even then most of it would get fast forwarded to the main event.

Obviously we grow up and move on (well most of us) and performers get old, but he'll always be the man when it comes to wrestling for me ( sorry Tito). Thanks for the memories HH. RIP

One of the first I remember making the switch from wrestling to Hollywood.

Never forget his Rocky cameo.
Big guy, body took a lot through his years from the impact to whatever he may have put into it.

Feel weird about this. Other wrestling deaths have hit me harder. As a wrestling fan, wrestling would not be what it is without him. He put it on the map in the mainstream. But at the same time, he was a terribly flawed human being who has been known to tell some of the most ridiculous lies you’ve ever heard. One in particular being he was asked to join Metallica when they formed. Plus, making the Undertaker legit believe that he broke Hogan’s neck after he gave him a tombstone early in Taker’s WWE run. Plus his racist rant. Still, sad for him family. Hopefully his son doesn’t go off the rails again.
 
RIP. Wasn't quite my time of wrestling fandom, but def a part of it with all his comebacks. Most recent one being memorable for all the wrong reasons (for him).
