thought Beau would be selected.

plenty of talk about him on c9 Sunday football while they playing, saying how good he has played

I thought buderus wasn't gonna play, because he was first choice for nsw. I see this as a sign of Ennis back in front…unless he's injured. What a cat.

Disappointed for Beau … His form warrants a Country jumper.

Not ahead of who they picked.

He has been going well though.

Beau offers a heap more than McManus.

Dunno how many Knights games you've watched but McManus has been very good.

Ferguson has been outstanding for the Raiders also.

Agree with Ferguson; not fussed on McManus. Was at the game this afternoon and Beau certainly warrants a bench spot at least.

If Robbie plays it will be very interesting to see how he goes against Buderus and Hinchcliffe, it is his chance to prove he still has it.

Rep team coaches won't pick a winger on the bench.

KNIGHTS hooker Danny Buderus has stood down from the Country Origin side today, despite being named at hooker against City Origin in Mudgee on Sunday.
>
It is understood Buderus is holidaying in Adelaide given that the Newcastle Knights have the week off due to the bye round.
>
In anticipation of the no-show from Buderus, Country Rugby League officials last night drafted Canberra Raiders halfback Josh McCrone into the squad with Melbourne utility Ryan Hinchcliffe to start at hooker in Buderus’ place.
>
It is understood NRL chief executive David Gallop spoke to the Knights yesterday in an unsuccessful bid to have the club talk Buderus into playing for Country.
>
Buderus has been under pressure from Knights coach Wayne Bennett not to play in the game after Newcastle were told the hooker’s absence from the City-Country clash would not effect his chances of playing for NSW in State of Origin.
>
The hooker told CRL officials last week he would prefer to miss the game to give his body a rest after the opening six rounds of the NRL.

Gets selected, flies off the Adelaide.

If it was up to me Buderus would be excluded from NSW because of this. Injury or not, you don't get selected then just fail to turn up. If Buderus won't show basic respect, he shouldn't expect any returned.
