Who would be your pick if for VC if Benji leaves?

Galloway, if he's injured then obviously Aaron woods. I know woodsy is a great player, an origin one too but Big red has a lot more experience (origin as well) and even woods looks up to him i'm sure.

Was thinking Galloway too..Has given some good solid years to the club he deserves a promotion.

Can only think tho they would pick Anasta with his previous Captain credentials

Possibly Fulton - he is a leader on the field and has is well regarded within the club.

Or Woods. Future captain IMO.

I know it won't be popular, but given his experience I reckon Anasta would be given the VC by Potter if Benji left next year.

For me I always had Lawrence as our future captain, he always handles the media well and just has that aura of leadership with a calm head. Smart footballer too, I'd trust him to make team decisions on field. Problem is as well all know he has really struggled with on field form in the last year or two, not sure if added responsibility is the solution. But I'd love him to get back to his old self.

Fulton is another option I'd have no problem with.

Winning the toss ,isn't that important Most big calls come from Potter via Skando

maybe you need someone to say something behind the try line. ,but if your spending too much time behind the try line it won't matter if it is Winston Churchill

Really it comes down to being the face of the club

should be a player's vote imo. who THEY look up to and who THEY want to see as their leader

no point in having any of those as captains if they don't have their teammates' respect

Coach should already know who players respect and listen to, if he doesn't than he should be fired.

A popularity vote isn't the way to do it, maybe if players wanted to determine a leadership group or something but a coach should be deciding captain/VC and similar positions IMO.

lawrence. if anyone deserves it and has been a loyal club man its him. agreed, his form and injuries are an issue, but then this is only for if marshall goes, then if farah is on SOO duty or injured.
