Less and less time for games as the year's go on...

2013 GTA IV was a special game though.
The very first COD : Black Ops

Going even further back GTA : San Andreas on PS2

Love all the UFC and Rugby League Live games over the years and will always buy them if they come out with new ones.

And going further back again , I loved Fight Night series and PS1's Knock out Kings as well as NBA Street/ Jam.

fight nights were great wish they brought then back

They should hey,
Classic games..

I got the Rocky Balboa knock out game or whatever it is called a while back.

Good bit of fun but nothing compared to Fight Nights.

oh yeah it had all the characters like Clubber Lang and Drago etc

Red Dead 2
Witcher 3
Uncharted all
AC Val
Ghost of tsushima
Metal Gear
Tomb raider

So many great games over the years and so much time spent playing.

WoW off and on. PvP ftw.

Forgotten so many on the pc as well.

Early on in the arcades was Golden Axe, Double Dragon. 20c a game, 3 lives.
Good times

That is an excellent list

Red dead redemption two is incredible. Maybe my favourite game of all time

I got it for Xmas.
Might have to find some time to play it !!

It's a long game but the story is brilliant and the game is so detailed it's insane

Dark souls 2 and Bloodborne were faves for me.

Skyrim as well, played the older ones as a kid.

Want to try the witcher.

The witcher is incredible. Would be close to number 1 for me

Waiting for new titles on ps5. Only remastering classics.
Farcry franchise is played out, haven't bothered with 6.
Apparently a new one this year will be a spin off of the witcher following Cini.
Should be awesome if they follow in the witcher footsteps.
Also hogwarts game looks amazing.

I love the Uncharted series and the first Last of Us game. The Last of Us 2 left me feeling quite disappointed and a bit empty.

Donkey Kong on the original Nintendo Game and Watch, I remember clocking it just by standing at the bottom jumping the barrels.

I don't know if modern kids know what "clocking" a game is. They all talk about "beating" it or "platinum-ing" it, which is another thing I don't understand, the drive to collect trophies.

I used to be able to clock Octopus on G&W continuously, i.e. I had to turn if off because I wouldn't lose. Couldn't do the same with Mario Bros or Donkey Kong Jr.

California Games, wow, thanks for the memories.
What about Double Dragon, Shinobi, then later on Tony Hawke 1, 2, & 3. I think one of the later street fighter games we got to the end and it opened up a bonus ten pin bowling game and you bowled using all the fighters from the game. Great Days.
Then I decided to put all that time wasted into learning guitar and construction diploma. I have never really played since.

How good was California games. Man I went surfing and snowboarding and I loved that 13 pixel whatever character it was.

I've always been more of a PC gamer, especially when playing FPS games which are a lot easier to play with a mouse and keyboard. Duke Nukem 3D is a game I remember fondly because it was the first LAN game that I played, it was awesome eating pizza and playing against your mates. Two other games I sunk countless hours into is Heroes of Might & Magic and the Civilization series, turn-based strategy games are so addictive "Just one more turn" you keep telling yourself lol

or world games it had cliff diving and log tossers

Wing Commander series - with Privateer winning out. Honourable mention to tie fighter and xwing.. wc nr1.

Fighting: mortal kombat. It had something that street fighter missed. I feel it aged really well while SF2 less so.

Strategy: catan but Command and Conquer, Dune and Age of Empires 1 or age of Mythology rocking it. Oh wesnoth is awesome.

Adventure: Indianna Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Seriously best ever. Should be a Movie. Day of the tentacle second.

RPG: KOTOR KoTOr2 insanely good. Following that Shadowrun Dragonfall awesome. Just awesome.

I dont change games much.

Can't pick one, will go with one modern and one retro.

Modern: Legend Of Zelda Breath of the Wild

- Spent way too many hours in that game. The world is huge, I'll jump on thinking I'll do something specific and next minute I have spent an hour just wandering about and exploring the world.

Retro: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.

- Fantastic 2D platformer which really holds up. Replayed it again on the Netflix like service on the Switch and it is still incredible.

Currently playing Saints Row IV as I picked it up for $4 which was a bargain. It's a weird mix of GTA and superheros and I am digging it.

Just bought Witcher 3 so keen to give that a go after enjoying the Netflix Witcher series.
