Voss: Moses ready to lead Tigers

Future captain.

Or, if he dare question the Taylor agenda, a future NSW Cup player. I think the hype on Moses after two impressive games is a little over the top, to say the least.

He doesn't have to question JT's agenda when JT's agenda revolves around benefiting him.

Please refrain from starting Positive threads in this hour of doom and gloom for the Wests Tigers…

Only a short time ago Moses was an overpaid wanna be and all hype...Who many thought was taking the Club for a ride by exercising his option for next year...

Moses is stepping up taking ownership...He will miss his mate this week though..Slay em Mitch...

So your complaining about negativity by being negative to a positive story , makes alot of sense lol.

Moses has really stood up, lets hope we can sign him up in the off season and not have to worry about his future next year.

OP got it…..Must of went over your head...back to the Taylor threads for u...

Ok boss, but only if you promise to continue to support JT no matter what. He could put Woods at dummy half and you find a reason to support it lol.

Oh, I don't know. Personally I think Moses will miss the leadership skills of the injured number 1 hooker (so good he plays origin you know). He will be stressing about not having the strongest players around him (origin quality players). (He probably relies on the advice of this forum.) He will be seething at the stupidity of the coaches team selection. Theres just so much for him to worry about. Poor Mitch what will he do?

I get that you are trying to cause drama here but it doesn't prove that JT dropping Robbie is the right decision.

I expect like in life when someone gets shafted most people just do the best that they can for themselves. I doubt that Robbie's mates are out there slitting their wrists.

I remember Robbie backing up Moses a lot. He pushed for him to get into first grade and I'm pretty sure once when Moses was copping it in twitter or something Robbie said Mitchell is a gun and blocked the guy.

I know none of that fits your little story but what do you think happens if JT gets shafted tomorrow or whenever. Will the players revolt or will they just get on with their jobs ? I'm betting they will just get on with their jobs.

Not trying to cause drama at all. Merely reflecting the drama, the angst, the gnashing of teeth by many of the formers here and imagining how it would be if Moses shared that angst. But I don't think he does. And yes I agree, if Taylor moved on the team would get on with their jobs just fine, in the same way they are getting on with their jobs in the absence of the legendary hooker.

 , settle Hansel .

His going O.K , he still owes the Club way more than we do as his been overpaid for ages with little consistency . His slowly growing in confidence and his still a young kid , so there is no doubt he will get better in time and his body gets more Mass.

Will see how he controls a genuine Premiership side , he's been playing against under strength sides which has helped be a bit better.

So every side he has played against has been understrength?

:crazy :crazy :crazy

I have seen the team mob Robbie a few times after a try but I have never seen JT mobbed after a win - or it could occur after the TV channel has already shifted to the next game.

I would be hoping that by 2018, we will have a completely new Captain, and it not be either Woodsy,or Moses. Woodsie is not a Captain in my opinion , And certainly not Moses.
Woodsy isn't a leader, and is off the field for a good part of a game,
And Moses still has a long way to go with his own game, to be even thinking of Captaining
An NRL team
All the hype from some about him could evaporate at anytime with a few bad games.
He needs to be concentrating on his job Atm
Just my opinion!!

Playing well & really developing into his role. Funny tho, this is a perfect example of how our young halves have been inconsistent. A few weeks ago Brooks was the saviour, now it's Moses.

They're both still learning their trade & we need to be patient with them. Looking forward to when they all (Moses, Brooks & Tedesco) all consistently fire together.

Well Parramatta and dragons, rabbitohs , understrength broncos… all ok teams but nothing special. He is showing great improvement but i think the next 5 weeks will show were he really is and where we are as a team.

Don't overload your brain and discuss your reasons , just keep throwing those :crazy :crazy :crazy .

Just keep thinking our oppositions were at full strength just like the Eels were last week

Moses has been going good the last couple of games but we definitely played a few average sides. If he can continue his good form this week without Brooks and Farah, and against the best roster in the NRL, then I'll start believing.

Yep, need to keep Mitch and build a team around him, Woods, Teddy and Liddle. Love Brooks to stay but only on a much lower deal.
Think Mitch has really shown he's the real deal, you can really see all the hard work he has put into his kicking game and developing his body for NRL. Brooks seems to have hit his ceiling. I still think Brooks has a lot of talent however he'd be much better playing next to a veteran like Green, Maloney, Reynolds etc for a few years to take the pressure off and cover for his atrocious defence.

The trouble everyone has always compared Brooks and Moses from day one. They are completely different footballers. I suppose if you were forced to choose maybe Moses,as he has some freakish skills, but I guess we will know in a month how valuable Brooks is. My gut feeling is we will miss him big time.

Anyway I am afraid their asking price for 2018 is rising fast and I guess the external interest will be great

The reality is that we can't keep both. We will lose one of our halves in 2018\. Just which one? I'd keep Moses.

We have the whole squad off contract in 2018\. Money will not be a factor in keeping Moses, brooks and Teddy. I believe the Tigers would let Woods go before the spine.

I agree on Woods. The sooner we find another C the better. He does not have the personality, he's a clown. Lawrence would be the ideal choice in the interim before Moses takes over when Rowdy retires.

I told you so !
Moses was always going to develop into this type of player. It's still early and I don't think the difference between his best and worst is narrow enough yet but he is well on his way to stardom.

Lets hope Brooks can develop similairy. I'm less confident about his prospects though..

Put Liddle in there and the team will be a major threat to any of the top contenders every week….
A Premiership won't be to far away ....let's hope for some very exciting times ahead for our great club....

In the twelve months I have been on this forum I have seen so many similar predictions come to nought so don't be too confident too early. We had stability at DH that was thrown out so we are now struggling and grasping in swelling and swirling waters. So if you believe in that guy up above then start praying.
